Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Hello again. I want to raise the issue of "absorbs" stacking. For example, a young Duelist Wizard with a Redshirt Armour has "absorbs (1)" which heals 1 hp after being hit. After having taken the advancement "able to heal from ..." she still has "aborbs (1)". ...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Hello again. In 1x10 "The Poison", the dragon Arsenius is not vulnerable to misdraconia, because he is a "Fire Dragon" and not "Fire Dragon loti". I am not sure that it is on purpose. Having noticed this by trying to use a Dragonslayer bow at that moment, I looked in Lo...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Fixed the bug in the github version. Its cooldown is mentioned in unit_information_part_1(). Hello. I did not see it in unit_information_part_1() because it does not work! The test should be if from_the_ashes_used then result = result .. span .. _"Turns until From The Ashes will be usable:</sp...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Hello. The ability "from the ashes" does not work, because the event "from the ashes" is fired with "if" set to the unit id, instead of "id". Additionaly, it might be nice to show the value of "from_the_ashes_cooldown" in the "Unit information&q...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Ashes i think that i can be quite good. Just craft something like 3 or 4 atheists or scourge of all living and gain + 90 or even 120% to arcane resist. :P I did not expect that crafting armours could make me gain 90% arcane resist, because for example Atheist boots are said to make me gain only one...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
#Undead Legacy I recently began to experiment with Undead Legacy on a Thief, because I wanted to have an Exterminator become a Lich (so the Lich can benefit from the full Exterminator's set). My Exterminator died today, and by looking into the save file I verified that the Lich has undead legacy too...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
If we are able to choose the legacy when choosing the "awareness" advancement, then we don't need to have every legacy with the same effectiveness in part I and part II. The balance of the game would only need that there is no choice that is better than every other. Then, DDL should be ner...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
#Efraim (...) 3. Make knives significantly weaker (I don't want to remove them, he would have only one weapon then and a dagger doesn't seem to me like a good replacement). He could have a staff as his second weapon. He is a skilled spellcaster! By the way, there was sometimes ago the suggestion th...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
@dabber 1st issue: Can you please give me a save file of this? I think that there might be something else at play too, because there used to be a bug that book advancements like those were really duplicated many times inside the unit and the unit panel just listed what was real. Indeed, these advan...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
#Soloing If a unit can go solo into unsecured places, it means pretty much that the unit is immortal. I don't think this is a problem fro Efraim and Lethalia at the end of part I nor part II since chapter 9. (...)But no unit should be able to rush ahead with certainty that nothing bad can happen. S...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
On Solo vs. Turtle As I said before, based on the descriptions of events and characters, my opinion is that it is OK if Efraim or Lethalia can play solo, but every other unit is simply a well-equiped follower of a preserved lich/a demigod, and it should not be able to face unlimited hordes of demons...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
#Lethalia I must admit that I don't see what would be the changes needed. I think Lethalia is very strong when going the staff+gossamer route. If the goal is to have another good advancement path, a distant attack with explosive leech (which exist for part I, but not for part II) could be an alterna...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
#Technocratic supremacy Preventing the increase attacks effect from affecting thundersticks would not be hard, just a matter of deleting a few lines, but the behaviour would be counter-intuitive. However, it's the best solution mentioned so far, weakening its AMLA would be correct in all directions...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
About explosive damage. I try to avoid explosive spells that do a lot of damage, because xp from additional kills is lost. Therefore the only explosive spells I like are the ones that are defensive: explosive slow. About spellcasters. I use few of them and mainly as defensive units. I like Duelist W...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
(Vritra is) genetically close to serpents and demons, but not to Lethalia (evil queen or good version, neither are her biological mother). None is her biological mother, but Vritra's description says "Born to a special breed between a serpent and an elf." That's why one of her distant att...
