Re: How is the in-game editor used?
I've never seriously (opening it up to see what the heck it is once doesn't count :P ) used the scenario editor at all, and code everything manually (even WML itself can feel a bit limiting at times, so you can imagine what my opinion on the scenario editor would be :P). As for what would the point ...

Re: Mechanical's art
The idea of a unit changing between night and day is absolutely awesome! will he be a predominantly melee unit in the day and a ranged unit at night? that would be really cool. Yeah, that's basically how how it works. There are a lot of things you could do for the transformation animation, I can't ...

Seems we have the same opinion on the matter, nice.BTIsaac wrote: ↑December 15th, 2020, 1:23 pm That sounds too much like "gosh-dangit to heck". I don't see any organic reason for why orcs of all races shouldn't use profanities in their insults.

Re: Mechanical's art

Im curoius how you guys will try to balance this units. (Its more than possible, Im just curious.) Top Well, once we release the era's alpha (hopefu...

Re: What does these words (tree-shagger, wose-spawned, wose-born) mean?
In my opinion, "tree-shagger" seems like the best one of out of the three posted by the OP. "wose-spawned" and "wose-born" just sound too... tame and sanitized to be something an orc would say (personally, I'd imagine they'd be one of, if not the, most vulgar race(s) in...

Re: Mechanical's art
Thanks! Everything looks normal in the game. Maybe I'll show you a screenshot later. Today I drew a sketch of an Eastern vampire. During the day, it looks like a person, at night it will turn into a creepy ghoul. So far, the daily version. According to the idea, this is a warrior in dark clothes an...

Re: Dunefolk Rework - Table Of Content / Change-Log
Hello, thank you guys for your time testing this. Reason for your impressions is that the add-on you were testing became at some obsolete as most of the changes discussed here were implemented quickly into the game for 1.15 version. After that point, further balance changes happened with the guidan...

Re: Mechanical's art
I was refering to earlier ghype post actually about using them in mainline. Fair enough. Mechanical kinda rejected the idea though. We weren't really aiming for mainline anyway. "fresh and unique" - - I somehow think that this means - "almost impossible to balance" :lo...

Re: Mechanical's art
I dont think that they would fit mainline (mainline factions look natural in almost any environment, this one.. I dont think it would Maybe so, however, UMC doesn't need to look like mainline to be successful (just look at archaic era for example, doofus's artstyle isn't exactly mainline-like eithe...

Re: Mechanical's art
I also quiet bone thing. That unit line has to be elaborated a bit more lore-wise to make it "fit". Could they be considered partially necromancers? Lore-wise, the floating bull-skeleton-demon thingies are made by the bull shamans draining a bull's blood, then throwing the dead bull's sku...
