"nand" and "nor" are well-defined terms with associated truth tables, so they make it really clear what they mean. Of course, the lay(wo)man will have to look them up on Wikipedia or something.

In my opinion, alternatives are good if they can be equivalent. I'd also love to use ruby rather than lua; and I am sure python folks love to use python rather than lua too. ;) But I think all of this could happen in the long run. I think everything above the waist looks great - the lower part doesn't fit the upper part. Must be a perspective thing or something. Also, the rear of the thigh looks weird. The lines of the arm could also be a bit less straight.

Regarding the lack of tooltips on mobile devices, maybe there could be a query button somewhere? Hit the button and then hit the coordinates on the map -> tooltip text.

If a language has a space, it can also have a non-breaking space.

Non-breaking spaces in source strings can be easily missed by translators, leading to mistakes. So, a code solution would probably be better.

Maybe you can do a string replace programmatically? theoretical, translations of individual alignments could contain whitespace too and so does "Required XP:", so you might want to repace all whitespace with non-breaking space after fetching the translations. Also, make sure that the UI is...

Chinese script doesn't use spaces - I don't know if it would be a problem in this case though, because I don't speak Chinese.

You could help him out by making him create a forum account so he can ask for advice in the right forum parts. One needs to be at least 13 years old for a forum account IIRC. Oops. I prefer var 2, it's more distinguishable from the male variant.
