Re: The Elemental Sword feedback (under development)

Tried it out. First Scenario.. I think you have an excessive amount of recruit slots, and the ai of the left lich seems off (he would randomly move his units left rather than advancing). It also semes odd that an inviceable army only has enough gold for 2 recruits turns... Its pretty easy and drags ...

Re: A Vision Blinded (15 scenarios, all complete and working

I liked this campaign, but I dont think you playtested Emerging From the Depths properly. And if that was because the scenario was excessively long and dull, well that might be the problem with it..... If you adjusted Emerging from the Depths to make it easier and less annoying I'd hate to see what ...

Yes, but make sure you raise some horseman or 2 missions coming very soon will be a real kick in the balls for you.

Re: Birth of a Lich: SP Campaign Feedback and Reviews

Played more of the campaign its pretty cool. I found the bowman thing unfair though. Just because I choose the more powerful class when I promoted a woodsman I lost him forever? It also takes quite a while for the player to get back their undead, something that might disappoint some people. And this...

Re: Birth of a Lich: SP Campaign Feedback and Reviews

Read the Judgement, its well written, though like Descent in Darkness this campaign doesn't really explain why its illegal even when used to protect the kingdom.

As for getting my villagers back, I had a Longbowman, but hes not on my recall list. Do I get him back to?

Re: Birth of a Lich: SP Campaign Feedback and Reviews

Trying this now. Nitpicky: theirs at least 2 typos in the first scenario. "Malfor was trained in combat at a ver young age" "A lot of many elders have fallen in battle" and "You will perish the more like" (unless that is a figure of speech for the time its set). Gameplay comments will follow as I pl...

Re: Help on Scenario: Valley of the Undead- The Princess' Re

Go back the last scenario and keep your knights alive, then use elf fighters as a diverson, give holy water to Knight/Grand Knight and go for a desperate assult on a lich.

Also play Orcish Incursion, its shorter and more enjoyable then HTT, and it will teach you much about the game

Re: Archery Training

The new normal setting was pretty fun, though it didnt seem to add to much to the early scenarios beyond a stupidly low turn limit.

Re: Considerate Dead

Well I managed to play it by downloading Wesnoth 1.10.2. The writing has some interesting points but the prose and dialogue is sometimes a little off and its riddled with typos. Read over your script again, slowly. Its an interesting touch he names his undead units, but it makes no sense they have n...

Re: Archery Training

The dialgoue was bland and the first few levels were dull but overall it was pretty fun. Maybe more than one difficulty setting would be a good idea. The map wasnt bad though playing on it 6 times got a bit repetitive. The first few scenarios were really boring, and you likely could have started the...

Re: Considerate Dead

Tried it on 1.9.14 ..... it crashs. Shame, I like scenarios with alternate necromancers and we need more undead campaigns

Oh you meant I can't recall if I don't have the troll?

Sorry I hadn't got that far in LOW, In most games with off race recuriting the recruits are added to the recall list afterwards. Ma bad
