Re: A Vision Blinded (15 scenarios, all complete and working

Played further, been enjoying it but got to Auld Lang Syne and this scenario is ridiculous and imo badly designed. 1) The ally ai is very stupid and nonsensical so. It will send ALL of the Wose to fight the orcs, and never seems to think to send any back to defend the leader, even if the leader is b...

Re: Birth of a Lich: SP Campaign Feedback and Reviews

Is Short Foot Shamblah as aggravating as before? Whats the troll scenario like? I'm not sure I'm in the mood for another long scenario after that.
I was happy with the length of the campaign, but maybe the people who wanted a bit more will be happy.

Re: A Vision Blinded (15 scenarios, all complete and working

Yeah I much perfer the revamped verison of the formally hellish tunnel level. I agree with most of tap tap's comments, though I didnt find Disobediance being easy a huge problem, I figured it was meant to be one of those scenarios for building up your gold and army. Speaking of which how am I suppos...

Re: Birth of a Lich: SP Campaign Feedback and Reviews

I mean Lionel the Death knight. When I stepped on his bones with Milfor the even didn't activate. Incidently the Death Knight I got from the troll leader was fairly useless and would have been better directly under my control. I had almost no veterans but was able to keep replacing any lost Wraiths ...

Re: Birth of a Lich: SP Campaign Feedback and Reviews

The new version of Start of Retaliation was far more manageable thanks, though I noticed you removed the death knight event (either intentionally or unintentionally) while still leaving the dialogue in.... that seems a bit strange. The final Scenario works flavour wise but drags on much too. I'd rec...

Re: Wild Era Campaign - Dreams of Urduk

Weaker monsters? Increase vision range so the swarm monsters dont surprise attack you? More spaces on the opening recruit spot, thus giving you some canon fodder?

Re: Wild Era Campaign - Dreams of Urduk

First Scenario seems to involve a lot of trial and error, with super strong hidden monsters that can easily kill your characters....

Re: Love to Death : Back to Karenin

Try playing it on 1.9 instead of 1.8? I think they fix the bug there

Re: Birth of a Lich: SP Campaign Feedback and Reviews

Played some more. Finding home kinda dragged and I wonder if it had too many on the map before hand. The fact that the dude spawns as soon as YOU see him is kind of annoying since ghosts see much furhter than others. Overall I didn't find it that bad a scenario aside from dragging a bit. I did find ...

Re: Birth of a Lich: SP Campaign Feedback and Reviews

Played a bit further but still not done. Thunedian the Strong and Orcish Sovereign were really fun scenarios. I have to admit I groaned when I saw them thinking "Great, another generic orc battle" but your allies, the terrain and the amount of enemy lv2s made it surprisingly fresh. Last Stand.. is k...

Re: The Hidden Kingdom

Well for the first its a particlar issue as "clean out the storeroom" would seem to imply your supposed to kill all the rats in the cellar. I guess I get the realism over gameplay thing, but I've never been a fan of it, especially in something like Wesnoth. The closest I like is the Alfred Hitchcook...

Re: Birth of a Lich: SP Campaign Feedback and Reviews

One problem and prehaps a reason why you haven't got further feedback. I tried to load my old save after updating (I completed Friend In Need, the scenario where you team up bandits to drive off the lizards) and I got ErrorL Unkown Unit Bl Dark Sorcerer (I had a a Dark Sorc and Sorcess, the Sorc ver...

Re: The Hidden Kingdom

Its an interesting idea, but the huggeee empty map and the long periods of nothing (even if they make sense) don't really work well from a gameplay standpoint. Also clearing the cellar of rats was rather tedious.
