Re: Perseo's tryes (Mad demi-lion portrait!!)

So here is my last unit attempt: ¡The crabby man! He's supposed to be like a centaur but instead of being a demi-horse he's a demi-crab:

Re: My unit attempt

I regret telling you that you haven't understood unit painting. The sprites are pixel art: ¿What does it mean? You work with pixel, you don't resize, rotate... etc You don't use normal colouring technics, you have to use a palette with some colours and then paint EACH pixel with the colour you think...

Re: Non Wesnoth art "Ironclad"

@Amorphous, actually there's smoke on the horizon meaning a enemy submarine sinking, I guess. The problem on the first image is that the cap doesn't have the same lighting than the sea surface so it seems to be in other place you know, the black part should be under the water in the position because...

Re: Non Wesnoth art "Ironclad"

I don't know if the cap is supposed to be floating in the sea but just in case, it seems to be flying... The drawing could be more "lose screen"... i don't know it's quite neutral.

Re: "The fellowship of the Clay" Humans gaining ground stor

The problem is that sometimes when the chosen unit is next to harriet at the end of the turn, when the new turn starts you have to move him in order to harriet detect it. Am I explaining it right?

Re: Wesnoth Miniatures

Well, actually I guess the one who have to contact with greebo is my friend since I only paint miniatures as a hobby. Also as I asked you before it will be interesting if he knows what scale is required. It's one of the most important things, coz artists are specialized in certain sizes.

Re: Wesnoth Miniatures

Well, What miniature exactly are you aiming for? One of the modelers I talked with years ago now is looking for some work. He says he can do a free try. And also What scale do you want? 28mm? 54mm? I'm becoming interested in this and I want to see what results of this iniciative.

Re: Wesnoth Miniatures

You've missunderstood me, maybe I missexplained, I dunno, anyway, of course I haven't designed any unit and since my artistic work is so bad I couldn't care less about people using it but since I'm a jazz musician I know how you can feel when someone uses your work without asking you even when he ha...

Re: Wesnoth Miniatures

Well since you have done the necessary necromancy to revive the threat I'll give you my opinion: some people can feel uneasy with the idea of their work being use by other people to gain money even when it's completely legal. I, for example, would dislike the idea of a guy using something I did with...

Re: Descent into Darkness Question

Well... I managed to repeat the scenario about 6 times using nightgaunts and shades... but finally I couldn't wait enough time to the rivel leader to stop recruiting so they reached Malin before I kill him.

Re: Art for Tales of the Setting Sun

Now it makes sense (at least for me). The image looks quite strange but this is because she's bearing and invisible shield, after drawing it I guess it would look pretty nice.

Re: Glenfire Forest

I've played scenario 2 which was pretty nice. The main problem you have in third scenario is that you don't conserve the advancement and xp points of pelor and this is not realistic. You have to do something like that: add the variable canrecruit=yes to Pelor at the beginning of the scenario store t...

Re: Art for Tales of the Setting Sun

Well, I'm not here to remember you how good you are XD... anyway I don't like the hair, I don't understand its behaviour... it's pretty unnatural for me, it seams like doing a strange twist before falling on her right shoulder.

I'll try to play it tomorrow coz I don't have time tonight and I'll see what we can do with this coding issue you're talking 'bout.
