Re: New: Ooze Mini-Campaign

Thank you for detailed feedback. Most of things you have reported as bugs are caused by fact that you played in multiplayer mode although on single machine controlling both player sides. Attached save files left no doubts on that. Whenever you choose to play multiplayer game it is always a multipla...

Re: The Library of Kratemaqht [SP Campaign]

[...]having those 0% defense spots may be worthy Having such a thing is rather a mistake in design. If you really want lower defense there just sunk the cave. Rails in shallow water won't look bad and defense will remain low, but without guaranteed hit. Alternatively you can use ice or snow. All of...

Re: New: Ooze Mini-Campaign

I'm on 1.10.7 and he's on 1.10.6, will that make it happen? No. There is no possible way that this was caused by differences between stable release revisions. That is why it is stable. Message you have quoted clearly indicates that this is because of changing game state in start event which is not ...

Re: Will be Wesnoth forever 2D-only?

Today newest games got only good graphic 3d, each new have better than earlier released games, but thats all what they have... Dont kill everything in Wesnoth for 3d graphic... Baldur's Gate isnt in 3d and still its great game. QFT Let me mention a few technical advantages that a 3D version of wesn...

Re: New: Ooze Mini-Campaign

Don't see an ooze version number, but it was the current version on the addon server. Unfortunately now the only way to check what version you've got is to use add-on menu in 1.11 or go to campaign folder and open _info.cfg file. Latest published version is 1.4.0 and that is probably it. I admit I ...

Re: LordBob's commissionned work

I don't really like the headgear, though. It seems so...impractical. Primary function of fashion accessories is to make wearer look good. There is no need for being practical. Headgear on portrait is exactly as much practical as long sleeves. Nevertheless it is historically accurate what shows agai...

Re: LordBob's commissionned work

Age is really not of that importance for a portrait. Since all that matters is how character should look on it. Young, old, on her actual age. If this last is a case maintainer should provide all needed details, unless it suppose to be hard to tell. Real life evidence contradicts No it doesn't. This...

Re: LordBob's commissionned work

If this is recorded somewhere, it was never reveled to wider audience. However using official timeline of wesnoth it is possible to estimate her age on 56-60 years. When in 478 YW Garard II marries Ashaviere, he is at 38 and she has to have at least 16 since two years later she gave birth to Eldred....

Re: LordBob's commissionned work

You're a little quick in assuming that only women wear headgear and cloth at the same time. No. I'm not assuming this. I just pointed out that on your sketch headgear looks more like veil wrapped around head of some highly positioned lady than sort of male headwear. Whether it used to be male or fe...

Re: LordBob's commissionned work

Technically, female Dark Sorcerers can advance to a lich too, so lady ancient liches can be presumed to exist. On the other hand most (if not all) named (ancient) liches in mainline campaigns are referred as male (Jevyan, Mal-Ravanal, etc.) Not in terms of game mechanic. Game don't knows any female...

Re: LordBob's commissionned work

An easy way to show that this is a high level of lich would be to give him a taller hat/crown. It's a simple visual cue, but effective. This was already proposed in concepts on figures A – C. Each of them superior to current one. Among other things showing an intriguing explanation of ancient lich ...

Re: LordBob's commissionned work

Three rulers: A – C Best from the great three is emperor: B […] (not body of B, because it looks pregnant). Snake tail is there, that is why you perceive it this way. As for others, odd poses and bodies spiked with weapons do not add dark intellect or feeling of dignity to them, but rather make them...

Re: Question regarding Debug mode and Character Classes

I didn't play that campaign. A) No you can't. Command suggested by Dugi will not work in a way you would expect. It will just change type of your character not it statistics and capabilities since that can be modified during the game. Also note that debug mode is to test game not to change reality i...

Re: NEW: Elvish Dynasty RPG

The training seemed exciting at first and I used it a lot, but to no avail. I had barely improved my stats by the end of the game (despite buying all the items from the merchants). That's odd since training rules are simple and presented to player. It is not much of a secret so let me remind them h...
