Re: Dotted line map system?
Or you could post a sketch of what sort of alteration you want the map to have and someone with better editing skills might do it for you. Oh! Really? Sorry, I was under the impression that that was rude when you don't already have the campaign complete. In that case... Map Changes.png If somebody ...

Map edit request
Note: This started out as a WML question about the adventure path commands. Further down it becomes a minor art request. So I'm just wondering how the dotted line map system works, where it shows the trail you've traveled throughout the campaign. I see coordinate numbers, do those numbers respond to...

Re: Defenders of the Crown (planning stages)
Alright I sent this to Turuk, but I'm also going to put it in the thread here as per his suggestion, my current design for the map for scenario 1.
Lemme know what you think!

Re: Scenario Review: DW 1 - Invasion!
I'm sorry it hurt your feelings, but there is no reason to find them any more disappointing than a soulless, which I love to see on my side. Alright, I respect your choice, but I heavily contest this point. Merman Civilians are not like walking corpses or goblins. They are like farmers and ruffians...

Re: Scenario Review: DW 1 - Invasion!
Hey, I just have a comment to make on the campaign in general: Why on earth did you make such an awesome class like the merman brawler and then just have them stop leveling at LEVEL 1? That was such a let-down when I leveled my first merman civilian only to find out that the brawler was a level 1 pr...

Re: Defenders of the Crown (planning stages)
set up camp in a truly impressive natural fortress that the Orcs had foolishly ignored. This is the one part that stood out to me in reading through it all, as it seems a bit of a stretch that there is this excellent fortress that the Orcs somehow overlooked and foolishly ignored. You could note th...

Re: Defenders of the Crown (planning stages)
And here's my rough draft for the intro text to the campaign! Lemme know what you think of it, I suspect it may be a bit long but I don't see how any of it can be cut: 518 YW: The Dark Queen Asheviere’s reign of terror was finally brought to an end thanks to the efforts of Delfador, Konrad, Li’sar a...

Re: That big empty space on the map by Aethenwood?
Alright, I'm going to post this in my campaign thread too, but I figured I should post it here as it's relevant here as well. Here's my rough draft of the intro text for "Defenders of the Crown". I feel it may be a bit too long, but I can't think of anywhere where I can trim it, it all see...

Re: That big empty space on the map by Aethenwood?
I don't think anything's canonically established as being there, so it's pretty much up for grabs. I've been assuming that it's just mostly featureless lowland plains, with a farm or village here and there but nothing strategically important. However, to me it does sound a bit weird to have large p...

Re: That big empty space on the map by Aethenwood?
yes, why not? :) Excellent. And that leaves a gap of 34 years between the "Aethenwood Madness" and the founding of the South Guard, and 43 years between the Aethenwood Madness and the beginning of the South Guard story. But back to my original question, is that big area north of Aethenwoo...

Re: That big empty space on the map by Aethenwood?
yeah, the southguard takes place south of the aethenwood, but the plot with the rogue mages and necromancers is still pretty similar. So it's believable that the area to the north of Aethenwood would also be full of them in the century previous, or perhaps that they were driven back across the rive...

Re: That big empty space on the map by Aethenwood?
sounds pretty much like the plot of the southguard (mainline campaign), which is set exactly in the same time, in the area there. You can look at all the mainline maps to get an impression. It looks like the south guard is regarding the area southwest of fort Tahn, which would be somewhere off the ...

That big empty space on the map by Aethenwood?
Have any of the mainline campaigns elaborated on what's in that huge chunk of the map bordered by the Aethenwood and the dotted line connecting Blackwater Port, Aldril and Fort Tahn? I'm considering using it for my campaign but I'd like to know what that area is like if it's been established at all....

Re: Defenders of the Crown (planning stages)
Also, I've been debating when to set this campaign, and I'm looking at the timeline and there doesn't seem to be a place to put it in. The best I can think of is to modify the plot slightly so that the enemy is Landar, but I haven't played Legend of Wesmere yet (doing so now) so I'm not sure if my u...
