Re: If you love dogs..

Often, thanks for writing this, I've never owned a dog but still it's an important issue that everyone ought to be aware of.

Re: Favarite Mod.

Mod (from modernist) is a subculture that originated in London, England, in the late 1950s and peaked in the early-to-mid 1960s.[1][2][3] Significant elements of the mod subculture include fashion (often tailor-made suits); music, including African American soul, Jamaican ska, British beat music, a...

Re: New Slime Campaign for 1.9

The .pbl is the very last step, after your campaign is all scripted and fully tested and bug free. Buggy code has been deleted from the server in the past, so it's a good idea to put the cart before the horse. Download A Simple Campaign and read it carefully. Read esr's Campaign Design How-To . Ther...

Dunno,

The kama is improved. But the position of the third skull seems wrong to me. If there's not enough room under the wolf's neck, let's stick with two original skulls.

If you feel like experimenting with an outline as Dixie suggested, go ahead. There is some blurriness.

There is no stderr log on Mac computers. The OP would have to open his Console application and look for error messages there.

Maybe a light colored wood for the handle, almost the color of the flame. (Yes, he's keeping the torch, I was just getting a little Hamlety, that's all,)

Boru, just want to say that those are your units and I don't mean to change Your campaign like that. I feel like I've said too much already and I don't want to make you rethink every detail because of me. The campaign is in development, so stuff gets changed, don't worry about it. I hope you had a ...

Re: Outsider Art for Bad Moon Rising

Yes, he is definitely boss-like. My only suggestion would be to change the angle of the sword. Direct vertical lines are not good, also he'd risk breaking the tip by jabbing it in the ground that way.

Re: Green Mage Sprite Critique and Help

If you are to use any of these pics for any purpose, please give me credit for them, as I have worked on them and are mine. :annoyed: It looks a lot like the mainline Arch Mage, with a horse from a frankenpack. Open source art is free for you to play with however you wish, but what makes you think ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sf06P-_1lkU Looks like one of those where I die twenty times in the first ten seconds of gameplay ... YMMV

Cogs looks pretty cool though. I'll probably buy.

Re: Variables Question

Just tweaking, but

Code: Select all

[filter]
     race=bats
[/filter]
is a lot easier to type than

Code: Select all

[filter]
     type=Vampire Bat,Dread Bat,Blood Bat
[/filter]

Re: 3 ideas:

You may need several threads to discuss these ideas, they're quite a stew. Ambush animations sounds good. But at a certain point, too many animations just slows things down. If I have three Rangers do I have to watch them do their ambush animation every time I put them in a forest hex? The playtest ...
