Re: Give Vampire Bats a randomly-generated name!

I agree with Thespaceinvader: Let's make up a random name generator that names the bats as random pop culture references and Wesnoth Forum Moderator names. "Hey look, I got a bat named Turuk! ...Oops, I shouldn't have moved it next to that horseman."

Re: The Internal Workings of Wose.

Is it possible that Woses are a hive mind alien species that are slowly turning the native wild treelife on the planet into more Woses, and are plotting with the Elves to slowly conquer the world? The director/writer commentaries [Of the Lord of the Ring movies] have the Running Gag of the 20th Anni...

Re: Ghouls - Necrophage

Another proprosed level three sprite for the Necrophrage was also found here , by the way. I think the buff that the Necrophage needs is either in tanking/healing, or in further spreading poison to everyone. The slime spit with 6-4 melee idea seems pretty good: 9-2 Ranged Impact or Pierce Poison wou...

Re: You've been playing Wesnoth too long when...

1074. When you, having scored as a successfully scored as a Ghost, constantly whine and complain to the aforementioned Heavy Infantry to inflict cold damage and slowly kill it, only to realize that 8 EXP is not sufficient to level you up and allow you to assassinate the enemy leader and win the game...

The Apparent Place Art Developers Work On Sprites

Thespaceinvader's already working on them, not to be a dampener. I'm sure the Wesnoth community could need some help in other areas of sprite art, look by Art Contributations.

Re: Insane Hermit

Sounds interesting. Though, I think I need a recap on Scenario 5's plot... So there's: 1 Human Force 1 Dwarven Force 1 Orc Force 2 Allied Undead Forces on East and West of the Map 2 Allied Elven Forces on North and South of the Map Right? Will it be a general free for all with the Hermit trapped in ...

1073. You constantly attempt to replay the Wesnoth Unit Quiz in an attempt to get a unit that counters Heavy Infantry. :P

Re: Ghouls - Necrophage

Some people have a habit of feeding their Necrophages lots of kills until it gains 120ish hp from feeding/AMLAs'. Unfortunately, I've never actually used them that much. Sure, I keep a few for support, but if a Necrophage dies I usually just shrug and move on since they have such a poor increases fr...

Re: Scenario Review: SotBE 17 - Human Horde

(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on? Easiest (Challenging), 1.6 (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) ...A 2. All I did was recall my strongest veterans in anticipation of a difficult, bloodthirsty siege. I hid them right behind my allies' s...

Re: Brent (0.1.3): extended char advances, cross-scenario quests

The Faerie Battlefield was actually kind of unbalanced, with fire winning. The three units that the faeries use, the wisp, sapling, and water elemental, were all kind of weak: The Wisp was a tank, but it costed 13 gold a pop- even more than the saplings. They weren't suited too well for their purpos...

Re: The Brotherhood of Stone

The part with the Drakes may be a bit more interesting if the Undead come along and attack them, too, making it a three-way battle. The Drakes acting territorial and dropping hints about where the Undead are, if there's a secret weapon, ect might make the whole encounter more interesting to the stor...
