Re: Avian Faction (The faction of winged people)

Ah, that's an interesting look but they do actually have ZOC. It's more like what The_Other mentioned. (I'm surprised that The_Other actually have the same views of how I envisioned the faction) With a unit obviously occupying an area by hovering above it, that would mostly mean that it's a guarded...

Re: Avian Faction (The faction of winged people)

I was thinking about your faction (I love the concept, by the way :) ), and your idea of flight ability. There was something bothering me about it, but I couldn't pinpoint it. Re: LordBob's commissionned work

Re: Avian Faction portraits and sprites

The issue here is that an avian can be killed either while it's flying or while it's on ground. I don't think a single animation will work for both states.

Ancient Romans were using it. True, the art of making concrete was lost in middle ages, but still. This is in no way a modern technology. Reinforced concrete is another thing.

Should I go ahead and post bugs over at gna.org? Or are these known issues?

Graphic glitches in 1.10

When in planning (whiteboard) mode with a Drake unit selected I move the mouse over a hex that would force the unit to use the flying animation instead of standing animation, and then I move the mouse away from the hex, sometimes the parts of the animation frame that extend beyond the hex (wings ti...

Re: [UI] Run fights in separate threads.

This breaks the design principle of BfW, that only one thing happens at a time.

Imagine if in a scenario resolving the first combat would fire an event that would switch allegiance of the second defending unit to allied... or do something else that would make that second attack invalid.
