Re: New user feedback/questions

Actually, I was inspired by the CCG Emmerlaüs in whic the the "•" basically meant "equal to" your power level…

So basically a card could say "d8 X your power level", while another card would say "d8 • your power level"…

Re: (Re-) using the artwork in other GPL projects -> artist name

Hi everyone, sorry for necro'ing this thread, but I have a question that relate to this… Well, first, my idea for the Wesnoth tabletop strategy game is temporarily on ice, but I am working on something els which may soon require some Wesnoth pic… So my question is basically this; if I include Wesnot...

Re: New user feedback/questions

I've gotten used to "5-4", so I'd find a change weird, but it would definitely make more sense as something like: 5 ×4 And even if it wouldn't be the "best" for a specific group, it would probably have significantly more people understanding what it meant than the current system...

Re: New user feedback/questions

Thanks for the speedy reply! Now that I know what to look for, I have found the number of attacks mentioned where you would expect in the documentation. A notation of 4x5 would be more intuitive than 5-4, though. I had assumed that meant damage was between five and four. If the tooltip by the flag ...

Yeah, that I wouldn't know; I've been looking for the version of OpenOffice that works on Mac OSX 10.3.9 (IIRC it's 2.1.0 or 2.2.0), and it's nowhere to be found on the internet… :(

You'd probably need Adobe Professionnal for that.

Re: Snow themed maps

That sounds like a good idea. Any chance of making one for 1.4?

Re: my pen and paper role playing game comments welcom

Like I said; okay for titles, sub-titles, and section break, but do use another font for the main text. I know you might want to do different than the usual Times New Roman, but then again, there's a reason why it's a good reading font… If you rally want to try something different, check out Garamon...

Re: n00b question--how many turns are left??

Yeah, Valley of the Trolls can be a bit of a doozy if you didn't leveled up your units properly… Here you need a unit with snare in order to slow down the trolls; this truns the frightening trolls into mewling kittens, after that, it's just a matter of terrain/ToD/concentrating your attacks, and you...

Re: Thread of the N3T clan

Oh sorry. Well, I guess I should've known better by then… :D I was just reminded how my project started by wanting to make a 3 player MP map that would eliminate the problems of 3 player games. Hey, I've had experience with this problem before, and this is the reason why I now absolutely refuse to p...

Re: Thread of the N3T clan

That was more or less the problems I was trying to eradicate with my CentralConflict3 map. Basically, the map forces all teams to move to the center of the map, a small area, where an extra village provides the incentive for the 3 players to duke it out… I think I have the 3 player version pretty mu...

Re: suggest to decrease the scope range

...I don't know a single unit with an ability called "camouflage". I mean, there's Ambush, Concealment, Submerge, and Nightstalk - are you talking about those? That's what I was referring to; I said "camouflage" because I didn't felt like listing all those abilities… Edit...
