Re: New campaign: Galuldur's First Journey (1.8)

Mentioning Supergobo. With me he disappeared without any comment. He got smacked by my elvish ally. Some lines would be great. (Where is he? he disappeared without a trace. or so). Keep in mind that this theme is allready in the swampling campaign. On top, I had to finish a lizard sidekick of Superg...

Re: The Barbaric North - 0.7.0

I give you the benefit of the doubt and have a look. Will you finish the campaign?

edit: I can not do the first szenario on medium.

Re: New campaign: Galuldur's First Journey (1.8)

I played on normal. The last szenario was introduced more than properly. It is common rule to recruit everything for the last. I was just daring. If you mange all the Vaddan options correct it will be even better. I just left him alive. Boring. The hints about the northern run slaughter: The hints w...

Re: The new Wesnoth logo and the Loyalist sigil

Can somebody give a catcher, why you are looking in new fonts at all?

I think it would be cool, if the words are not going over the new shield at all. Is that called placement?

Re: New campaign: Galuldur's First Journey (1.8)

Great campaign. really recommandable. About this Vaddan outlaw: Just make him hero straight away. Or sack the Vaddan branch if he dies completely. Than you should give a hint early. But Vaddan is playing in the sand before dinner. So he is important right? I like your surprise attacks and appearing ...

Re: Wave animation - possible useful reference

Well I would say the waves really have issues with the beach. Has anybody seen a single waterhole in sand? (just open the first szenario of the meermen campaign.) I would call it a geysir or pulsar. Maybe a quick fix would be to have to types of sand. One with wave transition and one without. I do n...

Re: TAM artwork

Really awesome work. I do notice a difference in the skin and hair shading you do compared to Bob and Kitty (This is no judgement). Keep in mind to keep old artwork, when you make a complete replacement. It might be usefull somewhere. I am just saying that because I think it was Doofus who is throwi...

Sounds good. Actually there are both. I try to put it in an end of turn event first.

Big, big stacking error

I used Jetrils oversized red dragon from deviantart for testing. It covers half of the six surounding hexes. There are a lot of stacking errors. The errors are different every other line. Can that be fixed? Or is it allready fixed? I am still experimenting in 1.6.

unit variation based on trait combination

What I can do: I can filter units at a recruiting event for traits and give them overlays based on their traits. What I want to do is: I want to switch on a variation of the unit based on a filter of traits. Does it has to be a recruiting event ? Or a prerecruiting event? Does variation work for por...

Re: Campaign art - The Rise of Wesnoth

Yes, that definetely happens. I am using some 820x500 Portraits on my laptop widescreen. They do not match the pixel of my screen, but they are not distorted. the 500 seems to be the wide where the text is starting. I am usually strict on the lowest 200 pixel to stay out of more than 500 wide. Answe...

Wow, I like the explanation of ascetism. Thats what I am looking for. An Ascet. I am not happy withe all this mage orders. I am looking for some more hands on ascet. I like defensive abilities to bring on some peacefull attitude. In that sense Shield/Warbanner/aura is a great idea. @Velensk: Thanks ...

Re: Campaign art - Descent into Darkness

It is great to see you so productive. I really liked your old shading style a lot. I do like your attitude of changing your work, when you feel it is needed. So if that zebra shadeing technique safes your time or nerves or anything, please keep it up. Great lineart. Can't wait to see it finished.
