Re: Unit Line -- Blood (and Life) Magi

The animation is really good, but the head seems a bit static.

Re: Wesnoth2 ruleset (or undoing Wesnoth)

I'd like to see true height added to the map - cliffs giving units a height advantage, caves/valleys giving them a disadvantage, and so on.

Re: Mainline campaign sprites and animations needed

Re: Unit Line -- Blood (and Life) Magi

The sprite is good and the animation is promising, but it doesn't seem to fit the style of Wesnoth and I can't put my finger on why.

Re: Wesnoth2 ruleset (or undoing Wesnoth)

Just a suggestion - Before newbies arriving here start getting terminally confused, would it be possible to make a specific forum (in "Development" for instance?) about W2? I fear those who (due to forum sedimentation) miss the original announce ("Wesnoth2, Wesnoth, Inc, and other things") will thi...

Re: ability like initiative

Have a look at lines 14-20 in the .cfg fold mentioned in the error message, one of the lines must have some characters at the start that don't belong.

Re: Scenario 05b: Isles of the Damned

(1) Normal difficulty, Wesnoth 1.13.5 (2) 7.5; a really good challenge but not hard enough to be frustrating (3) Crystal clear (4) The dialogue was clear and fairly interesting (5) Surviving was easy enough after I won the first big fight in the forest, but it was difficult to split my forces and st...

Re: Scenario 4: Bay of Pearls

(1) Normal difficulty, Wesnoth 1.13.5 (2) 6; not excessively difficult but a fun challenge (3) Crystal clear (4) The dialogue was alright, nothing more (5) Keeping enough Mermen alive was a challenge against a lot of bats and naga (6) 7; a fun scenario with two fronts to fight on (7) I'd give the la...

Re: Scenario 3: Isle of Alduin

(1) Normal difficulty, Wesnoth 1.13.5 (2) 4; fairly easy to get the kill within the turns limit (3) Crystal clear (4) I wondered why the powerful Arch Mage stayed inside the whole time, but other than that the dialogue was fine (5) No real challenges (6) 5; a fairly simple scenario (7) I'm not sure ...

Re: Scenario 2: Blackwater Port

(1) Normal difficulty, Wesnoth 1.13.5 (2) 7; surviving was easy enough but I couldn't get the kill (3) Crystal clear (4) The dialogue was alright, but could be better (5) The sheer volume of orcs was difficult to push through in time (6) 6, enjoyable but the turn limit is quite low (7) I'd add anoth...

Re: Scenario 1: The Elves Besieged

(1) Normal difficulty, Wesnoth 1.13.5
(2) 2
(3) Crystal clear
(4) The dialogue isn't bad, but there's plenty of room for improvement
(5) Getting a level 2 unit
(6) 6; a decent introduction
(7) No changes needed
