Just compiled wesnoth 1.7.6 on debian squeeze without any modifications to the source code. Both the problems are absent there (pango 1.26.0). So it seems the problem is only for the windows version.

I have the same problem with long terrains names, and a couple more bugs with traits. There is a problem after scenario 09_Tomahawk. It says unknow scenario 10_Dark_Ocean. Probably you have added scenario 10_Orcish_Newport later.

Try to read better what the error says. Line 4 there is a missing "=".

mmm, the first thing that you have to do is add a "@" in front of a some string. Probably you haven't putted your campaign in the userdata folder, but this line {campaigns/Quest_for_Myrithia/units} must be {@campaigns/Quest_for_Myrithia/units} , or we have to do a lot of work to understand why it do...

Usually this problem is caused by a missing quote. It's really a common mistake. You can prevent it using an editor with syntax highlight.
