Yes, I know that. It was just to make things easier to explain. And yes, the result is a little different, but at least for the moment the important thing is to make the campaign to work.

You can't start a line as you want. Every line must start with a valid key.

This is probably caused by the use of the standard macro to insert in the unit description the effect of firststrike. This obviously isn't correct here, so this will be surely fixed in the new version of the campaign.

Else you can try to use the "save_id=..." inside your [side] tag.
If you use save_id=your_previous_leader_id you will have his recall list and gold in the new scenario.

I can assure you that at least at the easy and medium levels it's doable. Remember that after defeating the first leader (in the lower right corner of the map) you can use his keep to recall your units. So try to reach and kill him quickly. After that you can use all your gold to recall/recruit unit...

When Merllow and Shoko first appear (in their first battle scenarios, I mean), they have bronze circlets (meaning 'loyal but killable') rather than the silver crowns they ought to have. Yes. Merllow is the same as the HERO status, so he should be a HERO, but Shoko is killable after scenario Eisheim...

I don't know if this is already knowed (or you still have to work on this), but overlays over ford and the new swamp give some problems. Also using overlays over reef is graphically just as putting overlays over water, but this is not a real problem.

Remember that the ranged era can't be played by the AI and can be played only in multiplayer. And well, you will soon realize that the game is better without a real ranged attack.
