What probably doesn't work is detecting village ownership in the moveto or capture village event itsself since ownership is set to the moved unit's side previously to the execution of that event... I've had similar problems in 1.8.5 and was able to avoid it by switching to the new lobby interface, under Preferences -> Multiplayer at the main menu. Strangely I was able to go back to the old interface a few weeks later and it worked, so I've got no idea what the cause was, but it's worth a try.

The shading when you mouse over a unit takes into account the current position of your units and their zone of control. I imagine that you're looking at the enemy's move distance, then moving a unit back and getting caught because you didn't take into account that the same unit was previously blocki...

I keep getting complaints that replays are corrupt when I load them... are other people still getting that? I think it might be caused by the hyphenated unit names - it says "unexpected characters after variable name (expected , or =), value '-'"

Am I the only one who thinks grunts are much better vs these guys? Yes you want a few trolls but grunts are much faster and deal the same damage output at night? I suggest to you orc players try a traditional grunt rush and see how it goes for you:) I will provide some replays with evidence of this...
