Are you sure you are going to the right server?
If you type in add-ons.wesnoth.org in the connect to server box, it will go to a server that has 1.2.5.

desert mountains
I was doing some maps the other day, and I wondered; could you put the sandy-coloured mountain in the desert category as well. It seems to "fit in" with the other terrains of that category.

Do you mean the web interface server?
For some reason, when it is 100% done it says error, and doesn't actually go on. You will have to use the wesnoth in-game downloader.

Some spelling things:
Machete is spelt machete.
Capital letters don't look good in the game. Maybe you wan't to change thing like Darts -> darts.

Yeah.
You get the transforming magic thing in Under the Sands, the use it to transform into something flying to go to the glyph.

Do you mean in the unit descriptions page?
If you are in a campaign, then you will have to include them like this in your main.cfg
If it is MP game and you can't see the units, I dunno. Sorry.

If you want to use a mainline image, but can't get the path there, why don't you just copy the image.
PS: Copying the path is easy. You just go
