Re: Invasion from the Unknown (1.12.0) for Wesnoth 1.6 ONLY

Thanks for the cutscene alert, I would have overlooked that. Best to do it now while I'm in that area. These took awhile to do for the amount of dialogue, otherwise I would have done more. Also, I've flipped some dialogue order around in 'New Knalga' where Anlinde wants to go it alone. I believe it ...

Re: Invasion from the Unknown (1.12.0) for Wesnoth 1.6 ONLY

Not much to update, but I'll post anyway. Any thread that had 'glyph' I left alone. If you replace them or don't, I'd be happy to go back over it - no corrections have been made. I should get a few more done by the end of the week. Not much to say about the nitpicks - you know the history better tha...

Re: Outlaws! New: Male Outlaw/Fugitive!

Is he leaning towards the 'camera'? If he isn't, it looks like the elbow would reach his hip at rest when it should be the waist. If he's leaning, then the shadows need to show that better. Other than that I think this is the most interesting piece you've posted :!:

Looks like a great start; my eye just wants to widen the thigh a bit.

Re: Invasion from the Unknown (1.12.0) for Wesnoth 1.6 ONLY

That's what I was thinking, too. Plus it's more ominous this way..

and finally blah - an exhausted, proofread Part II..

Re: WSAS: Making a start

This is an awesome portrait! I agree with the "fire stickers" comment however. The only suggested fix I can give is maybe having the flames "etched" into the armor - as though a dragon smith used his index finger to scratch the design. The drawback is the lack of color however..

Re: Invasion from the Unknown (1.12.0) for Wesnoth 1.6 ONLY

Rrrrraugh having story told by journal really skews with perception... It could be present for Galas, but as he has written it, it's in the past - plus the narrator is telling the story.. I'm better now..new version of Part I should be spot on - if it isn't I'll eat a ship's anchor :annoyed: Plus va...

Re: Outlaws! New: Footpad

It's not that big of a deal, but the newly modeled hand's first finger has the outline going through the knuckle. Perhaps this was to show separation, for it is raised from the other fingers. Yet this still makes it feel newly sketched IMO. Like I said, smallest of nitpicks, but blending the knuckle...

Re: Invasion from the Unknown (1.12.0) for Wesnoth 1.6 ONLY

Question for you: Is shaxthal capitalized or not? I've seen it both ways. Edit: I'm assuming from your forum posts that it's capped. ALSO I hope you haven't applied the storytext yet. I've found some tense errors that I am correcting. My brain must have shut down in places, that was tricky business....

Looks good, just the perspective of the horn on our left looks to be off.

Re: Outlaws! New: Footpad

The way I see it, her right elbow is bent and is behind her torso, therefore creating the shortening. Also the baggy sleeves distort the view.

Re: Invasion from the Unknown (1.12.0) for Wesnoth 1.6 ONLY

To help speed things along a bit... For the story parts I'm going to use the ellipses (...) as they should be used. After seeing them in-game I doubt it will make much difference, plus it looks better. Such as [That wasn't you . . . was it?] or [Don't feed a gremlin after midnight or. . . .] At the ...
