Couple questions/ideas: a) Could [message] tag have an additional value/variable that would display message in the taskbar of the desktop? for example wesnoth currently gives message/notification in taskbar/tray when it's players turn, or when somebody mentions your name or if ally starts the chat.....

As for me I tried to use 1.14.5 default theme and I don't see battery indicator at all (I'm not on laptop, maybe that's why). Some people told that they don't see observers anymore. i think it's at least 1% better :) i was thinking maybe some hair would cover the front of body to make it more visible, but no idea if it would improve it for real or would add another 1% :) otherwise i think it's all good.. like you said before, many female units dont really look 100% female :) so...

i still couldnt login later, even with 1.14.5 installed new. But then i closed wesnoth and deleted cache.. C:\Users\Admin\Documents\My Games\Wesnoth1.14\cache
opened wesnoth and login no problems.. no idea what fixed the issue, the end of maintenance + restart wesnoth or purely deleting the cache..
