You mean of the Aragwaithi? I think there's still some, although I don't actually know which... it's been a very long time since I played/worked with Wesnoth. Are you thinking of finishing them?

Re: Sidhe and Imperial Era

Thanks for all the comments! I've been a bit busy, but I did implement suggestions - except for the faces, which I'll do at the end. Right now I'll do them all without, and figure the faces out when I created them faceless first. Also: I stole Wayfarer/Shadow's revision of the Fury (leftmost unit) a...

Re: the weather has life, and can be a a enemy!

Oh yes, please upload the file... I'd love to see if I can integrate them into the Sidhe somehow.

On a different note, could they be implemented as another option for fog?

Re: GET AN ADD-ON OPTION FOR IPOD TOUCH!!!!!

I have OpenSuse linux, I know what apple has been doing in the Unix world, they have taken a bunch and given nothin back ! So basicaly Apple is useless Ahem. Also, you could have figured all this out by reading a little bit in the iPhone port (or maybe even iPad) thread(s) at the top of this very f...

Re: Links to Decent but Abandoned Terrain graphics

Dunno if this is what you're looking for (it's not very complete at all), but Jetrel reacted favorably in the thread, and I think it's awesome: Mountain by Shadow/Wayfarer http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/2752/mountainnewvy1.png http://www.wesnoth.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=18017&start=0&hilit=...

Re: Aragwaith sprites updated!

A while ago, the Aragwaithi were in the process of being updated by their original maker, Wayfarer/Shadow. An example of his work: http://i50.tinypic.com/23hq0w5.png This was an update that went far beyond "adding some TC to the sprites"; he was essentially completely redoing each unit, complete wit...

Re: Sidhe and Imperial Era

Thanks! I'll probably redo the warrior's sword... I have something slightly wider in mind, maybe even a different color. It should be more of a cutting sword rather than a poking sword. Good call on the TC; I'll lighten that up a bit. With regards to the faces... I dunno. I kind of like them without...

Sidhe and Imperial Era

After a rather long hiatus, I decided to try my hand at spriting again. First thing I did was update some of the Sidhe graphics from the Imperial Era (which is up on the add-on server, I think) http://i47.tinypic.com/14ogac.png From left to right: Warrior, Raindancer, Wanderer. The wanderer's spear ...

That looks terrifying! (i.e. perfect once you do the shadows/texturing you were talking about)

Libboost iostreams missing?

I just compiled Wesnoth 1.8 on Ubuntu 9.10, mostly to get access to wmllint. Along the way, I installed libboost 1.38 (or at least I think it was 1.38, but it was over 1.35) - everything compiled fine. The only problem is running the application: whenever I try to run it, I get the following error m...

Re: Wesnoth for iPad

Awesome!

I got the chance to use an iPad at the Apple Store today, and I was already thinking that it would simply be amazing to play Wesnoth on.

Re: iPhone port, Episode 3

Hey guys I have an awesome idea: let's accuse the guy who ported Wesnoth to the iPhone OS (something people had been whining about on the forums for ages) of manipulating the app store rating system to artificially boost the score. In order to give our argument credibility, we should claim the revie...

Re: Wesnoth for iPhone out now!

Hey - again, awesome work. I haven't been able to play much, because I've been dreadfully busy, but ah well. My main concern is really a nitpick, but I just thought I'd mention - the icon. The current icon isn't bad, it's just rather busy. There's a dude with a lot of complicated armor, and a mounta...

Re: Wesnoth for iPhone out now!

Hey, this looks pretty good. I just bought/downloaded it... played through the tutorial, and I'll probably started HttT later. Sure, I need to restart the device (ipod touch 16 gb) before playing... but that's livable, and I assume things will be get better. OS X was also hella slow when it came out...
