Re: TAM artwork

Sure thing, I agree. I did some reading on ogres this time (and looked at the mainline portrait+sprite!) and.. did some revision: So this will be mister captive ogre. I may have got carried away on the rope, probably I'll get it down nerfed to something more realistic. I also added the protruding to...

Re: TAM artwork

Hey jb, Thanks, but I think I'll redo Marko later on. However I'm contend to call Largo&Hugo portraits finished contrary to what I said earlier as fixing them further on Bob's comments. I found some time working on two new portraits by the way, the ogres our heroes team up with. The jailor ogre ...

Re: TAM artwork

Ahem.. very much so! I should stop using myself as a model :P I beefed up the arms a bit, streched the upper left arm, as well as some other tweaks. I think head size is ok though - I was thinking his head to be stooped over his shoulders. Anyways it's open to further C&C. I'll finalize it later...

Re: TAM artwork

Yo, I give some time for the portraits to settle down. I will take what you said about beards into consideration Bob, though I think right arm of Largo is ok taking into account the foreshortening. Also I have the flats for Marko, the eldest brother. I suspect forms to be better defined while shading.

Re: Swamplings Art Thread - comments greatly appreciated

Hi, I believe you don't have the pressure sensitivity properly set on your system. That must be why your linework is so struggling on a closer look (I had the same problem till a few weeks ago and setting it up really made it feel so much easier). Also seems to me you may want her left lower arm to ...

Re: TAM artwork

Hey jb. Aye, I completely agree with you there, and I added a beard (this so reminds me the episode evil bender from futurama btw :) ), some hair on arms, and a tiny scar to his face. I'm contend that these gave him more a gruffly character, but it's yours to decide. (As I have mentioned in game, I ...

Re: TAM artwork

Thank you for the response guys. TSI: Yup, yup, I was hoping no one would notice but yes, the patterns don't match with the geometry of the clothes indeed. :) Well, it was my first try at decorating something with a brush pattern, so I guess I was just too excited to notice it at that moment... Btw,...

Re: TAM artwork

I was still not so happy for Largo. Wanted to change him again ><. I like this one far better, as the previous one had a way too much of an fashionable hair :)

Plus some minor tweak on Hugo portrait.

Re: TAM artwork

Okay. Agreed TSI&Fog, though the angle of the head for the second one should explain for that. However I developed some problems on Largo portrait: Arms+hands were funny, also wanted to match a more realistic style as to the Hugo portrait. So a second try for the linework for Largo: While I'm at...

Re: Portraits: Drakes

I have problems on design elements with the warden portrait. You should rework his helm, as it makes him look extremely cute in my opinion. I think that's because all of those smooth and compact planes present. At the very least try to decorate his armor; I think even a reference to EVILEST's design...

TAM artwork

Hello all. Going to be posting the portraits for Bob The Mighty&jb's to be yet in the production campaign The Altaz Mariners here. For the moment some of the main characters: Largo: (Thug) Headstrong, sarcastic and aggressive - but not dumb. Hugo: (Poacher) More cautious and cunning than Largo, ...

Re: Can somebody make a portrait of a fencer for me?

Noted Frogger. I'll do some revision on him, not so particularly happy about those things you mentioned. I'm waiting for a response from RaustBD first however,
and I'll probably need some time off him as well.

Re: Saurian Campaign: Fossil (ART NEEDED!)

Haha Hulavuta, I wish my imagination was as rich as yours, seaweeds! Yes, I was thinking them as of whiskers. I hope
they're more readable in this shaded version. Oh and unless a major problem I'll call it finished.
