Re: wizzardz: NEW: male Mage of Light

The way the creepy skull on his staff stares with blind eyes in the same direction as the necromancer himself, mirroring the true nature of his soul... just superb.

dont know why, but it looks like something between male and female, which might be considerably worse than the "extremes" :/ I got the same impression.... I do like the concept, though, so I played around with it until a few details bothered me no more (neck, right shoulder/arm, jawline, ...

His head ends up where his feet were, while his feet slide backwards. This shouldn't happen. Also, the body falls at a different, much more pronounced angle than the spear. The shield changes shape, and needs proper perspective once on the ground.

I know it's a pain, but keep working on it. :)

Sure. Try making north-facing frames for the goblin spearman line. We've already got half of them, since we have the melee attack frames; all we need is a standing frame, and defense frames.
I'm nearly done with these, sorry

Re: Sprucing up a digital photo

Heavily filtered, had to play with highlights/midtones/shadows to bring up the darker areas and ease the brighter ones. Sharpening gets rid of the blurriness but you still get double edges (like a "ghost image") which you'll need to deal with manually. The smudge tool could do the trick.
