Uhh, the AI has integrated http://c2.com/cgi-bin/wiki?TheKenThompsonHack and become http://c2.com/cgi-bin/wiki?HyperBug.

Don't bother reading the source code, the AI RNG cheat's not there.

Uploaded 0.7.2 which is mainly bugfixes for 0.7.1

Particularly:
* Auto-recall picks most-leveled units of that type again
* Lich Lord Lenvan's units advance again
* Wood mage animation timings are now reasonable.

FYI, even #1 (giving XP via attack rather than kill) can be done in WML if you're willing to put enough effort into it (intercept event and alter XP as desired).

BTW, FreeCiv is partially RTS and the server does withhold non-visible information from the clients. In fact, a copy of the last seen world state is stored on the server for each client so even save-load doesn't cause problems. No wonder each server instance hosts only one game at a time and consume...

AI: at the time I encountered that the previous scenario had so much XP that I only had 1 lvl 2 unit (all others had just levelled up).

Yeah I stopped playing this one after it took away all my L3 units.

I played through this once at the hardest level. I had 480 gold going into the scenario about the meteor and due to the carryover percentage I only had 280 coming out. Ouch. I tend to play with 4-6 healers in recall list, using 2 healers for task force.

In ItfU due to unit count restrictions on the final section I played with 3 (2 + hero healer) and found myself wanting another a couple of times.

Interesting idea xudojnik.

Unfortunately that is not a tunnel but a magic portal that is unphasing (as stated by Lich Lord Lenvan).

Maybe I can adapt some shadow-like indicator of impending doom anyway.

I was surprised that Yeti had no cold resistance simply because it's larger than the cavalryman's horse (which is how I explained the cavalryman's cold resistance).
