Re: Bad Moon Rising
(1) Bad moon Rising "Act II" - 0.6.3 Hard (2) 9-10. (3) Absolutely brilliant with that "world map" you walk around on. It could however have a bit better explanation at the start because at first I was confused of which "forest" to go to and how the world map worked. (4...

Re: Alfhelm the Wise
At which point did I blow off good feedback? I answered your inquiry as to the fact that it was not a bug as it stands now. You were the one who instantly took an offensive stance and instead of making a reasonable suggestion, decided that I was against you from the start and came back hostilely. I...

Re: Alfhelm the Wise
It then asks you if you still want to download the add-on (which you clicked on in the first place), and does so. This is the exact actual popup --- Dependencies This add-on depends upon the following add-on which you have not installed yet: Imperial_Era Do you really want to download it? [OK] [Can...

Making Dependency Text Clearer
I just added this campaign to Wesnoth 1.6 (on Ubuntu Linux), but trying to start it fails with the error Unknown unit type 'maurader Hunter' (The game prompted for and, AFAIK, downloaded the required Era) Edit: Apparently the game did NOT install the required era automatically (that I was led to bel...

Re: Scenario Review: (UTBS) 5. A Subterranean Struggle
Just played the version in Wesnoth 1.6 (scenario version number not shown ingame) on Linux (compiled from source). There is a bug that makes the game not remember the "sides" state between saves leading to the campaign in some cases being unfinishable from those saves. If you load a save A...

On top of increasing 40 gold being way to little, probably something should be done about turnlimits. Its very easy to just take things very very slow and hoard gold in case you need it vs the comparatively very weak opposition. The suggested white mages would be VERY good, as it would pose a REAL d...

Ok, did the overwrite config thing and tried it out. Mission 1-3 feels much much better now. 1st have appropriate difficulty and money and the third has become a lot less lame with the Saurian (in 5 tries) purchasing 7-9 units at start and putting up a good fight. In the end I caught the Saurian lea...

The saurian problem isn't luckily such a big problem because your ally will take care of them, after all (you might still want to send a unit or two that way to ensure you'll get the leader). Well yes, it really depends on what the intention with the scenario is. If your ally is supposed to keep ba...

I changed the turn limit of A Strategy of Hope from 44,42,40 to 35,30,25. That should eliminate some of the excess gold. I guess that works out well for a quick fix. However the real problem I assume is the lack of gold for the Saurian AI player. There is just no way to win in 15ish turns if you ar...

As an update I would like to mention I now tried to replay the campaign with deleting all the non hero loyal units after the first scenario, It works quite well with no mayor money or balance issues. However, due to the lack of the Saurians actually buying units and attacking you still end up finish...

Replayed the campaign again, except this time I never recruited any ghosts until the 6th mission (escaping across the river) where you actually get 1 ghost for free at start. Evaluation: * Mission 3-5 worked just fine with lots of bats and later skeletons. * To kill your sister in mission 6 is almos...
