It would be a good idea for some maps, but for maps where you have to cross a river, I think it would be a little... hmm.... confusing. You could shorten the distance of your attack a lot and just not go over the river (which was the point of the map presumably). On the other hand, on a big random m...

1280x1040 (or something near to it) fullscreen when I play - when making campaings, window mode. I run it on Linux.

I think it would make a good faction, I like the story line you created there a lot...
It would be nice that dwarves have some magical attack - that would add some more depth to them.

I don't know about Windows, but I got the same message when I played Wesnoth on Linux sometime ago. This was probably because I had pressing the screenshot button, instead of the save button. That is how I got my space full quite quickly I had given 'home'. After I deleted the enormous .bmp pictures...

Would it be a good enough suggestion to send it into the 'request-list'? If, could you give me the adress? I've been there once, but don't remember the adress... :(

Fog areas

I don't know if this exists already, or if it is in planning, but I thought it would be a nice feature to have 'fog areas.' A campaign developer could define a area where there is fog. For example: valleys with fog in them, while there is no fog on the mountains! (This accures a lot in nature). Or t...

The reson why I voted for the second option was: if someone reads the script before he plays the scenario/campaign, he is just spoiling his own fun (if there is something hidden). I (nearly) always play the scenario, and if there happened something special I want to know how to code, I look at the c...

I have looked at your pictures, and there is definetly a lot of work in there. I liked the animatrist a lot! Though some pictures have a lot of similarities with the other units, I hope you will go on changing them, till you can't recognize them anymore.

Let me explain(I didn't do it so well ): let a unit have a goal, a ai controlled unit, to get somewhere on the map. Like 'leader_goal', in case you have used/seen it, but not for a leader.

A question

Hi, I am currently working on my first campaign, and I have a question (what a surprise): Is it possible to let one unit move, without using the 'fake_move' (or however it is called) command? Is there something like 'leader_goal', just that the unit is not a leader? I tried using goto_x and goto_y, ...

There are several ways of doing it. Firstly: Do you play on easy, medium or hard? If you have troubles on 'easy', recruit a lot of elvish fighters and send them east to secure yourself from the WCs (Walking Corpses). You can boost them up with the elvish marshals. Then you should have enough money to...

Reload Button

I don't know if this is a good idea, but for campaign developers, wouldn't it be helpful to have a reload button, so that when you change something in your script, you don't need to close and open Wesnoth all the time. Tell me if such a thing exists already...

If you download the source code(in case you don't already have it), you can also find the discriptions there. But it is of course a lot harder than using the Wiki. :)

I'm sorry, but I have to correct you:

Though one could of course give the advancement of the 'Orge thrower' a xbow.

I lthink I'll use that idea actually :D
