Even if they had a non-dragon leading them. They wouldn't listen to the non-dragon, they would eat him! What about if it were a great mage, able to control minds or convince them to come together? It wouldn't need to be the Dragons that left to the island. It could be that the mage stole some eggs,...

IMHO, the idea couldn't be made to fit without some MAJOR adjustments - i.e., change "dragons" to "drakes", change the invading Wesnoth part Well, that was what I expected when I entered this thread, and I guess we will make a lot of them... :) remove the part about this leading...

Dragon campaign

Hi, me and another member of this 'community' have decided to create a Dragon Campaign. The original idea was his, but I also gave some of my ideas. The first map is made, and I have just started on the first scenario. We have planned to make this after the Fall, but since I know that many people ha...

(1): Easy and 1.1.1
(2): 4-5
(3): Very clear - make it out of the tunnel
(4): Quite interesting
(5): Keeping my heroes alive
(6): 6-7 (more to the seven)
(7): Make the tunnel or scenario longer - otherwise a great scenario.

Since I am 'new' to the thread, I think that it is an excellent idea. I remember once not knowing how many turns it would take for Konrad to get to the Scepter of Fire, in HttT, and I actually had to add tags, to see would it make any sense for me to try and play the scenario to the end... P.S: Mayb...

I just wanted to tell you, that when they come out of water, they are completely soaked in water. The fireball wouldn't be so effective... :P

I am definetly not experienced in balancing units, but I would say that the (if it is lvl 1) 'Outcast rouge', has too many sand attacks. I would make it 2-3, not 1-5. Simply so that the other unit it is attacking stands a chance of not getting hit. Or was it the point of the attack to always get hit...

Ok, thanks for your help ... But in my/our campaign, we need it only in the beginning of a new scenario. So I wouldn't need the 'advance' event in this campaign. But in others, it might well come in handy....

P.S: Let us correct that, will come in handy

What I can see, is a really good balanced map. Something for nearly everybody. Plains for humans/loyalists, forest for elves, mountains for dwarves and orcs. Where are the swamps for saurians?

So one could basically use the store_unit for knowing what level your hero is on? Would it be something like this? Or is there a more elegant way of doing it? [store_unit] [filter] description=Hero [/filter] variable=temp [/store_unit] [if] [variable] name=temp.type value="lvl2 unit" [/var...

Also, if you don't have much gold, consider sending one of your dwarves down the lake, where you find villages (in case you didn't know). They can come in handy. Especially later in the scenario  ...

I found a little bug, on the 1.1.1 version, before I could start, I had to add a [/then] and a [/if] tag both into the scenarios 'Trapped' and 'Revolt'.

Otherwise a great campaign, even though I haven't played it through to the end yet...

1.1.1, problems with Son of the Black Eye

I am quite sure that you have noticed, but while I played Son of the Black Eye on the latest version, I noticed that in the third level, half the units are missing (including the Troll Hero).
Is there a way of fixing this, or are you going to fix the bug in the next version?

Well, I would like to point out, that I am a native German speaker too, but haven't lived so long in Germany. I guess you are right, but I originallly thought that the humans, elves and dwarves are fighting for Wesnoth, trying to defend it from 'evil powers' (check the english name out), but since y...

German name for Wesnoth

I hope this hasn't been discussed yet, (or proposed), but since I speak (some) German, I noticed that the German name for Wesnoth would mean in English: the Battle about Wesnoth. My suggestion: wouldn't it be better to name it 'Die Schlacht fur (the 'u' is supposed to have dots over it) Wesnoth'? Th...
