Can't remember now if the game has always done this, but when using shroud it appears impossible to clear the border hexes that do not partially occupy the map.

E.g. I set shroud=yes in my test scenario and at the start the game duly placed shroud everywhere, then cleared it due to side 1...

I tried to make two word names, had syllable length set to 3, but it doesn't work, can someone explain how the name generating system works?

i remember there was (perhaps an unstable) version of wesnoth where you could change the way graphics were smoothed by using BRZ and other stuff.
you could simply use whatever you wanted.

it sems if you look at unit descriptions this method is used. ingame it seems this method is not...

But if they do they're nothing much like Wesnoth's version. : )

One of the things that bothers me is the permanent character of the halos of the Mage of Light and other units with the illuminates ability, which forces them to program only a permanent illumination applied only to the possessor of the ability.
