I made a new single player mini-campaign for v1.3.4.

It has four complete levels. It also has an RPG level which as far as I know has never been done in a single player campaign before.

1. it works fine with another wayland compositor - labwc
2. The problem disappears if you run it with XWayland with SDL_VIDEODRIVER=x11 wesnoth
