Re: Knalgan guide
Having an ulf on 1st recruit can be ok in my opinion, and rather fun. If that matters, I am personnaly against putting an official advice discouraging to do so. Well, if you are playing to win, then it seems like a risky thing to do. What happens if you are grunt rushed? Or even if you are not rush...

Re: RNG superstitions
- When attacking a ghost (or any other unit with drain) it will most likely end up with more health at the end of the battle than it had at the beginning.

Re: Sam_waz_thread
Call me a nerd going over the pointless but I always read the unit descriptions; I like to know why these orcs want to attack me or why these elves are helping me but all too often I know the answer. It's because orcs are the enemies of humans and elves are trying to maintain the balance, how monot...

Re: Why do people quit playing?
To be honest, I don't know if you can group many people's various reasons for giving up on Wesnoth, simply because each person plays and interprets the game differently. When I was first introduced to Wesnoth I played the game frequently, often neglecting other aspects in my life that used to be imp...

0.7 or so.
Although there was a large gap in time where I completely forgot about the game, and have only started playing again recently since 1.2 or so.

Re: New campaign: Return from Captivity, for 2 players
Hi there, this is Sangel's brother. :D Let me first respond by telling you how glad I am you made this campaign, as I love the idea and hope you will continue with it. I'd also like to point out benefit of how you centered the first scenario around the single leaders (apart from the mages), as it re...

Swamp of Esten
Is it just me or does The Swamp of Esten level in The Rise of Wesnoth seem a little hard? I have tried it several times on easy and every time failed miserably. I may not be a very good Wesnoth player but surely that is what the "Easy" difficulty is for? When I played, the Undead seemed to...

This relates my idea of an upgrade for the silver mage. A mage that is invisible in villages, is not very strong, but has high defenesive values. It may also teleport between villages like it's predecesor (excuse my spelling if I'm wrong). Name: (Debatable) Level:4 Cost:110 Race: Human Abilities: Te...
