GCC does actually support parallelism for LTO; see documentation of the -flto= option.

My preferred outcome for the main menu theme would be to bring back the old one, but I guess if an option is added to select between multiple tracks, this could be a good alternative. The track seems like it would be good for dialogue at the beginning of scenarios, too.
