Re: LordBob's random stuff : Nagas and more

Hey doofus-01, Thanks for the feedback. The sailor isn't a bad start, but the layers need to mesh together a bit more, like how the green sleeve of his right arm is shadowed. It sometimes helps to draw a quick & dirty background scene. There are some details missing, LordBob probably didn't mean...

Re: LordBob's random stuff : Nagas and more

This is my very very first attempt on digital coloring. (And coloring in general) and drawing/illustrating for that matter :-) I'm very well aware that it is sloppy. Do you guys share psd files or other layered formats? Or only exported raster images? [Edit] Okey, seems I got the lighting wrong. Fac...

Re: LordBob's random stuff : Nagas and more

I understand the whole start-to-finish approach, and the different visions artists could have on how to go from sketch/drawing to full colored and shaded illustration. I brought this up because LordBob has great sketches, and probably no time to spare to color them all. And maybe coloring by someone...

Re: LordBob's random stuff : Nagas and more

man these portraits are great, cool stuff! Of course they are. LordBob's always are great. Has there ever been a different apporach to creating portrait drawings? What I mean, is that up untill now I only saw an illustrator work on a single piece (and taking into account feedback). Has there ever b...

Re: Grand Portrait List - 2020 update

Hey Folks, When posting wtactics/arcmages artwork or derived arwtork please follow the CC-BY-SA4 required attribution. Each peace should be labeled as such (CC-BY-SA4) and correct attribution would be: "Title" by "Artist" for wtactics.org/argmage.org licensed under CC-BY-SA4 Or f...

Yep, they are under CC-BY-SA4. The same as the arwtork for BfW. I think there are even some of our commissioned pieces already in there.
Attribution would go to wtactics.org/arcmage.org and artist Santiago Iborra. That's all :-)

Re: Grand Portrait List - 2020 update

I can only rejoyce in hearing LordBob is picking up his pencil once more for the good of all battle for wesnoth! As I said before, we at wtactics/arcmage have used a lot of the BfW drawings, and have our own set of CC-BY-SA4 illustrations that match in theme and lore to what's been done here. Our en...
