Re: Cultural Exploration of Aragwaithi
looks awesome. All I know is the aragwaithi have good %def in sand xD so maybe they are travelers or come from a sandy place? My idea is that different families have different sources, like the root branches of a big tree, and that's not going to be an obstacle. In the case of the aragwaithi family...

Re: Aragwaithi portrait
I know next to nothing about the topic here. The images, for a strange reason I can not explain, or perhaps the thread linked in reminds me a bit of the three kingdoms saga. But I have no idea why I came up with that. The banner sort of reminded me of that. To be honest, I haven't played any video ...

Re: Cultural Exploration of Aragwaithi
Keep trying, I mixed original A and original C, and I ended up with two medians.
Sapphire eye B looks more colorful expressive than pure A, so she will be the basis of everything I draw aragwaithi's face.

Re: Cultural Exploration of Aragwaithi
my pleasure,Lord-Knightmare wrote: ↑August 23rd, 2020, 4:59 pm Hi, I like the direction you are going in with the Aragwaithi culture, hierarchy and traditions.
If you would like to make revised unit descriptions and portraits, I would be happy to add them to WoL since the Aragwaithi is one of most favourite factions.
Please feel free to use.^^

Re: Cultural Exploration of Aragwaithi
I see the independent family as the smallest political unit in aragwaithi, each with about 300 to 800 people, which happens to be between the village and the urban population in the medieval environment. There are two reasons for adopting such a minimum political unit First, this concept can be easi...

Re: Cultural Exploration of Aragwaithi
As you can see, I'm trying to figure out the right color and skin for aragwaithi, and I've done three sets Wizard portraits (I won't finish). A is inspired by the real Nordic people; B the color of blonde hair and skin looks like wesnothi, which is quite possible considering that they belong to the ...

Re: Aragwaithi portrait
I tried some new emblems, including eagles, crows, wolves, herons, dragon with spear, snakes, beasts and even Harpies. So far, there is no new direction of satisfaction, so I decided to put it on hold, focus on the other points first. whoever comes next as an artist is more likely to build on your c...

Re: Children of the Dust [SP campaign for BfW1.14]
I'm not sure if I understand what you mean with 'free play' here. I'm sorry for my omissionXD With regard to "free", I would like to say that players can make decisions through quite different processes to achieve their goals. Such a free design makes it worth playing repeatedly,It's cool.

Re: Cultural Exploration of Aragwaithi
So far...but after that I have to slow down.
I'm very grateful to receive opinions from professionals like you. I put the feedback on the painting in the aragwaithi portrait post.

Re: Aragwaithi portrait
both the one here and over in the elvish rider sketch. You are right! If the aim is cultural exploration, you might want to do a couple pages of sketches dedicated to clothes, armor and weapons before jumping into portraits. Yes, I tried to make some costume templates (that's why the swordsman's mo...

Aragwaithi portrait
I try to create some portraits of aragwaithi (see my introduction column "cultural exploration of aragwaithi"), because it involves text, I put it in the writers' Forum partition. To avoid drawing related responses from the original invitation, the invitation here collects some image feedb...

Re: Children of the Dust [SP campaign for BfW1.14]
The free play of this campaign is so high that I started to try to play it again for a second time. So far, I haven't encountered any major problems. Thanks the maker, it inspired me to create some portraits of Aragwaithi!

Dwarvish Steelclad&Elvish Rider
I made two portrait sketches that could be used on L2 units or heroes.
