Re: Weapon special that tests if one hit could kill the target
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it! :D You can find the resistances, slows status, leadership, and time of day, so you can calculate it manually. (Someone has probably done it before.) What I was trying to achieve basically boils down to how to do this. However, the more I think about it, the ...

Weapon special that tests if one hit could kill the target
Heyo! I'm currently working on a weapon special that will increase the attack's chance to hit if one hit from the weapon would be enough to kill the target. This is what I have so far: #define WEAPON_SPECIAL_SACRIFICE VALUE # VALUE should be the maximum damage of the attack [chance_to_hit] name= _ &...

Re: Myrddin Emrys' Art
After being away from Wesnoth for a while, here's an Elvish Monk I made some time ago for a project I abandoned. I'd still like to use him at some point, but in my current project he doesn't fit thematically. monk.png Note: By now I know how a hakama is actually worn, at the time when I drew the abo...

Re: Invasion from the Unknown (2.0+ version)
(1) What difficulty levels and game and campaign versions have you played the scenario or campaign on? Wesnoth 1.14.5, Campaign Version 2.1.1, Easy difficulty (2) How difficult did you find the scenario/campaign? (1-10) 5, towards the end of E2 more like 7 (3) How clear did you find the scenario/cam...

Re: Genesis 0.2.6 [1.12/1.14] [Ep 1 complete]
So, I've just finished Episode 1. I must say, it was quite awesome. There were a couple of things I noticed, and unfortunately did not write down, so I'll probably forget some stuff, sorry about that  I love the amount of character development and interaction in this campaign. While most ch...

Re: Myrddin Emrys' Art
You might see some parallels. […] Yes, there definitely seem to be some similarities, at least in terms of clothing. In fact, my character's blouse is also not 100% white, but a little beige-ish, but I'm not sure myself if that difference is actually perceptible like this. Originally, it was a dark...

Re: Myrddin Emrys' Art
the details on the wood are nice and i like her armour set as well. i get a vibes of Ciri from the Witcher. I like it. I've never played The Witcher, but thanks :-D :D there are a lot of white shades (hair, skin blouse) maybe get there some more colour somehow somewhere. I see what you mean with th...

Re: Myrddin Emrys' Art

Re: Potrait of sprite
Maneuverability is worth little if it means having no control.
Anyway, even if such a shield can be used effecticely, it is still quite unusual, and still looks somewhat weird in the actual image.

Re: Myrddin Emrys' Art
I'm planning to use the common mainline mage.
Edit: I will, however, add a sword attack animation, albeit probably not a very sophisticated one.

Myrddin Emrys' Art
Hello there, This is the current version of a character for a campaign I am working on. The unit type will be Mage, allowing all advancement paths (red/white, silver/arch). Iona.png Iona2.png The sword is optional, as it is an item that can be acquired during play. There will probably be an alternat...

Re: Potrait of sprite
https://i.postimg.cc/6qM48hGC/Untitled.jpg A shield held like that would most likely be very impractical, as it could swing around the hand holding it relatively freely, and would do so if struck by a weapon. With most common shields, the "handle" is not exactly in the middle but a little...

Re: Under the Burning Suns
I played the campaign on Normal difficulty (version 1.14.5), and I must say it's probably my favourite of all the mainline campaigns. Here are some things I noticed: Is it intended that the formation ability only works on offense? If so, I think that should be stated in the ability's description. As...
