This sounds like a bug, but I cannot replicate it. Certainly Zhul's death should cause defeat, but she shouldn't die mid-dialogue. Hey guys, thanks for all the kind comments, I really appreciate them. It's great to see that players are still enjoying UTBS. They look beautiful. Thanks a lot fmunoz! The human commander looked like the human ranger because it's the same artwork. Secondly I think you're right : the drowning message preceded the graphic change of shallow water into deep water No elf can enter deep water. So any unit in shallow water will drown next turn. The WML code actually changes the terrain from shallow to deep water before any death cries are displayed...
