Re: BT attempts portraiting

And here's the male Sword Dancer, which quite honestly I should've posted way back in January. For the past few months, my progress looked like me turning on the computer twice a week, making minor adjustments in less than 30 minutes and turning the computer off. Really slow way to get anything done.

Re: BT attempts portraiting

So first off, I made some adjustments to the four fairy portraits a little while ago. Hopefully they look better now than they did the first time. I'm leaving those up for a bit for comparison's sake.

Re: BT attempts portraiting

I'd like to upload the stuff I've been working of for months (not much) so I can finally move on. I'll post these voidhunter sketches now, and the rest of the last batch later.

Re: nemaara's art (and other art for Genesis)

Not saying the guy is bad or anything, but i think calling the style Wesnoth compatible is a bit of a stretch. I might know a couple of alternatives but I'm not sure which of them is doing commissions. I'll look it up soon.

Re: BT attempts portraiting

I know, but these a scribbles so you will have to do this for you portraits as well, and I know how much work that is. I've been working with scribbles like that and I know that they are just the first step. The scribbles are mostly a security blanket for me and have been for a long time. For bette...

Nice portraits, but now the fun begins with coloration. I've just read a comic, where drawing and illustration / coloration was done by two different persons ^^. This can be challenging.
I have been doing this for a long time actually.

Re: BT attempts portraiting

On a more cheerful note, I finally managed to get myself to draw some more demons. This is an attempt at the male and female variants of the Voidreaver/Voidwatcher, from Genesis. I may have taken some inspiration from a character in Magic the Gathering (wouldn't be the first time) when designing them.

Re: BT attempts portraiting

And I'm here again. Still haven't done much work these past few month. I spent all of December with a broken wrist and never really tried to get back into shape, so I'm out of practice. I have been working on a couple of character portraits for a personal project and they look rather embarrassing, b...

Re: Secrets of the Ancients (Undead Campaign)

Sure, if you want. But, at the end of SotA his plan was to do exactly that in Elensefar, so you would have to deal with that somehow. I figure they gets beaten at Elensefar, flee and end up in the far south. Part of the reason why i made a thread on the Sleepless Sea, was because the idea was that ...

Re: Secrets of the Ancients (Undead Campaign)

I was thinking that he died. If that scenario existed, it would probably have "Defeat the enemy leader" as the win condition after all. I wouldn't mind of someone invented a different story for him though. The only problem I see with him running away is that uber-powerful liches in hiding could sta...

Re: The Ravagers - SP campaign now for 1.14 - [Feedback and development]

It was 1.1.0 upon porting. To me, this sounds like you updated to 1.1.14 right after starting the game, that is why the heroes who appeared before this point (Dothar, Gallien, Elvyndiel) are bugged from the initial version, but those who appeared after (Maggoth, Tharos, and those who are to come I ...

Re: The Ravagers - SP campaign now for 1.14 - [Feedback and development]

Unfortunately, I do need a saved game of the scenario in question, because apparently I can't reproduce this :( You mentioned the Vampire side story, during that quest, you usually start with additional units that are intentionally NOT loyal. Nope. As i said i was not paying attention during those ...

Re: The Ravagers - SP campaign now for 1.14 - [Feedback and development]

If for some reason you can see that there is a positive upkeep cost caused by the heroes, then I will need some more information. On which map did you notice that they are not loyal? Could you please send me a saved game, or open an inspection window and check the "upkeep" value of the heroes? It's...

Re: The Ravagers - SP campaign now for 1.14 - [Feedback and development]

Loyalty of starting heroes (Gallien, Dothar, Elvy) should have been fixed by 1.1.3 and the others gradually through 1.1.4 and 1.1.5 or such, however, it does not fix saved games unfortunately, so if you started the game in 1.1.2 or earlier, then probably the only recipe for making existing units lo...
