Re: World Conquest II
Imagine the player's shock if a Skeletal Dragon appeared. Or a Yeti, lol. well, the strongest reason why not to get them into the game is that Skeletal Dragon for example is not animated at all (neither is fire dragon). at some moment i was thinking, what it would be like to add an AI that recruits...

Re: World Conquest II
If anything, they could be recruited 2 from each side on last mapt. Problem is, that this would only work if the alliances have lv4 enabled.

Re: Age of Heroes balance.
AI and campaigns - If everything will go well there might be no need to change anything since changes will be MP only. If your changes are mp only, then there is nothing to worry about? It also would be the easiest solution. Suppose the devs have to aggree with seperate balance for sp/mp though.

Re: Dunefolk Rework - Unit Descriptions
I do not really know how much more I can say to this. You are now basically saying that other mainline should be changed too ( dervish thing ), while other arguments of yours fall short ( ranger and bow) as many other units considered mixed fighter do not have both weapons drawn in their base frame.

Re: Dunefolk Rework - Unit Descriptions
Well, a unit with two daggers named: Slasher. But a description says about archery and a portrait displays a naga with a bow in hands. Unit is using same portrait as UtbS Naga as it visually would fit, but it is considered a placeholder atm. In case the unit design is not yet clear, this naga is su...

Re: Dunefolk Rework - Removed Units & Extra Units
I am not really aware of that scenario (gnat was, but not me) but as long is that scenario is user made you are able to use them as you want since they are mainline now.

Re: Age of Heroes balance.
Considering the balancing you did in the Dunefolk Rework, i am fully confident in your proposals.
Did you however took in account how these changes might impact mainline campaigns?
Are there any where you can recruit any of the units you suggested changes to?

Re: World Conquest II
I slightly worry about the trajectory if things become more and more custom with more and more focus on hardcore players. But the original spirit could quickly get derailed if WCII becomes too exclusive. I never intend to do that as Alien Era is still a thing. Problem is that those who don't know w...

-New Alliances: Could be fun to try new combos. Be careful about adding too much at once. Try to include 1 or 2 only and see how they play before adding more. I do not plan to release anything without proper testing. My contribution on the Dunefolk Rework will show for that. -New Heroes: Be careful...

Dunefolk : option 1 is the best for me. and the other 3 factions paired up with are dwarves, northerners and undead. So your suggestions are: - Dunefolk & Dwarves - Dunefolk & Northeners - Dunefolk & Undead ? Alliances : Tek unpaired some factions because they are really hard when paired. he wrote ...

WC II Rework
Hello everone as most of you remember, I talked to you about doing some changes in WC II and add new content. You suggested many good ideas but not all of them were realistic. However, I am gonna present all the changes I am planning to implement together with gfgtdf. Dunefolk Rework: With 1.15 Dun...

Re: Dunefolk Rework - Unit Descriptions
That is old Sunderer. The horse is wearing a lot of metal chainmail armor. http://units.wesnoth.org/1.14/mainline/en_US/Dune%20Sunderer.html That is the part I actually wanted to clear up. That is not supposed to be chainmail. That's supposed to be scale armour or call it small-plated armour (dunno...

Re: Dunefolk Rework - Unit Descriptions
Just to clear a small thing up - while the shape of the "scales" from the Ranger the CTP might look the same, mounted Cataphract never actually gave chainmail to their horses. It was more a very small plates sticked together. I assume you could call that scale armour. Spaceinvader (who I think drew ...
