Re: Northern Rebirth - Eastern Flank
You should probably have more dwarvish lords at the start of this scenario. For me that meant replaying a large part of the campaign (Yes! Totally worth it). On the northern part of the map, there is a village in the southern region of the mountains or in the flat land. Use this village held by suit...

Re: Labels for observers
- I fooled a bit around ingame months ago, and some HTML tags worked for team labels, but not for labels (undocumented feature?)
- you have never been label spammed
- a.a
- clearing a single label is a bit clumsy as of now, yes

Re: Comparison of different AIs
There are more than the 3 default AIs (default, strong, experimental). Install the AI add-on from the add-ons server and play against the one named Fred. Feel free to compare its strength to the others :) Gotten intrigued by your initial post and its following responses, I have digged a little in th...

Re: confusing German translation (Unerschütterlich)
Well spotted Dennis. I am not a translator for Wesnoth, so I do not know how the process is here. But in case a translator comes across your post: Lately I contributed a tiny little to a translation on https://www.transifex.com/ . While their idea is sound, I do not like their interface very much, b...

Website For Finding Replays And Players
Hello everybody, I know it kills the charm of a bare-bone webserver directory, but: https://westnorth.herokuapp.com The app runs on heroku's free tier and the database is already 17-times the allowed size (of 10.000 rows) for version 1.12 replays alone. This means support will deny write access soon...

Re: A Walk In The Woods [Feedback and development]
Hello Baryon and madformadrigals, Thank you very much for creating this campaign. The story caught my attention while browsing the contents of the add-on server. 1. Are the objectives clear? Yes, always 2. How difficult did you find it? Which difficulty level should it be classed as? After finishing...

Re: Wesnoth 1.12-4 and 1.13-1 for Linux
I think 1.12.4 is no longer in backports, but in the "sloppy backports" (for wheezy users).
Adding this line to the sources.list file allows for apt/aptitude installation.

Re: Help requested with testing Fred - Freelands MP Custom A
I second that post. I like how fred operates in teams and does not try to attack in vain. It is really different then the rushing default ai with regards to this. It occurred to me that once the situation is evaluated to be in favor of the other player, fred switches to be overly defensive, thus giv...
