Re: Legend of the Invincibles

Also I am thinking about legacy of freezing north (iceberg), I find it quite boring, and somehow I have a feeling it is the one legacy mostly meele oriented (the others are more useable for everyone. Yep, I think the freezing north's legacy are most useful for Scythemasters. Because they have whirl...

Re: About add-on campaign Nightfall

I think there was a work in progress version uploaded at some point, but it was never finished and Kwandulin took it down intentionally from the addon server. I thought I had a version of that at some point, but I can't find it. No idea if Kwandulin will ever come back, but I think he dropped Nightf...

Re: Top Best UMC campaigns

I think my favourite ones are still the two arabian nights - first the one with the flying carpet unit; but the other one where you have hero units is pretty cool too ... there are also djinni in that one. There is also some epic-long one with about 200 scenarios? Or something like that. It is quit...

Re: Carved in Stone 0.8.0 [SP Dwarven Campaign for 1.13]

Here is my replay of the scenario, perhaps it helps to give you some ideas!? To beat this scenario you certainly need to abuse some hero advancements as well as the bear riders knockback ability (to avoid getting bogged down), I don't think this is manageable otherwise. Even given that, I think it t...

Re: Heroes

That is really the best scenario I've ever played in Wesnoth. Bro, keep doing scenarios with dwarfish heroes, or even a compaign. They are the greatest! You might want to check out Carved in Stone, a dwarf campaign by Kwandulin... ;-) (he also made Ashen Hearts and Oath of Allegiance) ((although I ...

Actually 32 EXP.
Oh, right, somehow I substracted fighting exp there

Thanks for the correction!

Re: Delfador in HttT should be lvl 4 instead of 5, and Yeti should be lvl 5 instead of just 4

Yeti would need to have ranged attack to be level 5, otherwise being source of too free xp. I know theoretically ranged units can grind 5xp each time they shoot the Yeti, but wouldn't there always be a threat of 32 damage that can potentially one-shot the shooting unit? That would still make it a b...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

[...] That sounds more like an incompatibility between versions than a bug, but would still mean that you can't salvage your old saves for the new version. Depending on the scale of changes, someone might be able to manually alter your save files to bring them up to snuff, but I have no idea how mu...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

It just feels bad to lose progress for a very arbitrary reason. I've thought that funnelling exp to protagonist was safe bet because of how leveling works in this campaign. Apparently not and I would've been better off feeding this exp to other units. I understand resetting but having at least some...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

Hello! Before becoming a lich i took quite a many lvl ups on Efraim... are they lost now, after ascension? I'm especially interested in Legacy of Light branch which took me like 3 lvl ups for opening up, illumination and heal, but now i don't have all those abilities. Is this intended behaviour? Do...

I don't see the comparison. Cu[acronym]nctator's sword is for area slow ... the wielder doesn't kill anything. Thundering Revenge is for mass damage.

Oh, look, it's the Eidolon's sword moment again... it seems, I really shouldn't be doing this at night...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

I don't think item drops in walls happen often, but it does occasionally occur in combination with unit spawns and especially with Beelzebub (killing him too close to a wall/flies). I'd say: nice to have, but not really important. I asked that because I want to know if it could be abused somehow. I...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

The items in the cave walls were dropped when I "killed" BZB. It doesn't seem there is some other way of making units drop items in walls. Maybe the code that makes items dropped in walls appear in your inventory when you finish the scenario in Jungle Hell could be moved to work globally? I don't t...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

I have moved Lethalia to the southern border of the map in the “Infinite Legion” scenario or LoTL, but the scenario does not end. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be most appreciated. Strange. Can you upload a save file? Hi, I am having the same problem, and it emerged sometime around the...
