Re: Legend of the Invincibles

I ask advice how would it be good to use debug mode and/or .cfg editing to complete both parts while using only the units that must not die (or be destroyed).

Re: Strange Legacy - 1.16 RPG World (Markets Upgrade)

I deleted and re-downloaded Strange Legacy. Now I can start challenging.

How do you know some Finnish language?

Re: Strange Legacy - 1.16 RPG World (Markets Upgrade)

5. I have Windows. I tried to start Strange Legacy on challenging and immediately saw: Virhe Failed to load the scenario | Ok | 9. I didn't know faith and karma are the same thing. 12. You missed this market bug.

Re: Strange Legacy - 1.16 RPG World (Markets Upgrade)

Here is some feedback. 1. A bug: In the tutorial, I can get as many helmets and bandages as I want. Not redwines however. 2. A bug: In the foodmarket of capital city, some goodies cost no natural number. 3. A bug: When I try to buy spiced-stew in Mainland capital, I lose the money but don’t get the ...

[UMC] Able to choose traits

This modification allows the player to choose units' traits when recruiting.

1. A bug: Krux already knows his legacy.
2. A bug: Prion said Krux had changed legacy but now he has two legacies!
3. A problem: after Prion told Krux to go north, I went north and lost most of my gold without warning. I'll need to reload and buy some gems...

[mainline] Manual advancement

Instead of your units automatically advancing, you can (on your turn) click them to make them advance if they have enough exp. This would be very useful an option because units full heal when advancing. You might want to adjust AMLAs so that they don't make the next advancement even harder and, for ...

[UMC] Ranged attacks cost gold

Ranged attacks need arrows, mana potions or something else. That's why they, both offensively and defensively, cost a few gold pieces. The exact amount is total damage (not considering chance to miss, time of day, leadership nor enemy resistances) divided by ten. For example, spearman's ranged attac...

I like this idea. Higher-level villages would give better defence (except for those units that don't gain extra defence from ordinary villages), give more income and upkeep, and heal more HP.

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

1. I dislike having many and weak units so I only use loyal units. That’s why I need to use debug mode and/or edit game files, at least at start. 2. I think Mario the peasant should be able to equip some kind of weapon. Otherwise he is very hard to advance. 3. I gave Mario the peasant The Touch of D...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

I remember, when a unit equips a potion, then another, the effect of the first potion disappears from the unit. Maybe the first potion goes back to the item storage.

Re: The Beautiful Child

1. I wanted to play the entire campaign with few units only. I didn't recruit at all, and always had from two to five units. That's why I used debug mode to make my heroes more powerful. Unfortunately it was slow to get items. Could you add a cheat option to get random items? Or maybe even more chea...

Re: BfW is a game that relies on save-scumming too much

For balance reasons, I think that wounded units should have much higher recall cost.

Edit: and don't limit how many units can become wounded.

If you don't update the faq, I can only hope that someone other tells what they have found.

I don't need the walkthrough: I've finished the storyline on easy several months ago.

Re: BfW is a game that relies on save-scumming too much

The ten-dice-system would belong to an optional add-on.

There are already modifications that could make some scenarios seriously unbalanced, such as AMLA Mod.

Using the ten-dice-system would be a good way to hone one's mental calculation skills.
