Re: Battle Theme A
I can hear something a lot like an electric guitar in the backgrounds, so I'd be surprised if this makes it into mainline. But you're right, it is pretty snazzy.

Re: Scenario Review: THoT 3 - Strange Allies
Below is a small 'survey'. It'd be greatly appreciated if people who have played the third scenario of The Hammer of Thursagan would fill it out. (1) What difficulty levels have you played the scenario on? normal, 1.11.15 (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 1 (3) How clear did you f...

Re: [DIY] making html5 wesnoth-themed roguelike
Right, some spell effects were messed up. Proper effects are: - Entangled = target has reduced damage (1/2), and penalty to armor (subtract 50%) - Sleep = target armor set to -50%, because unit is helpless - Shadows = own armor is set to 80% ( help dialog extended with damage and armor modifiers ) ...

Re: [DIY] making html5 wesnoth-themed roguelike
Just thought i'd pop by to tell you that I'm enjoying your game. I have not encountered any bugs with this version, (I check to see how it's coming along every now and again) which is much more polished. The one biggest thing I'd like to see added is descriptive tooltips for the spells. I also think...

Re: Zoomo's Art
The warlock looks a lot better!I'd move the hair up one more pixel, but it looks pretty good a it is.
I don't have the old drake reference point, but those look quite nice.

Re: Zoomo's Art
It'd probably be good to tilt his staff a little more to make it match the angle of the cloak. His head also looks a little squashed.
For the toned-down version, you could easily make him look less dynamic by closing the cloak.

Re: Zoomo's Art
The proportions are much, much better. You've done something to the contrast, though, which makes the armor feel a little washed-out. It'd be good to increase the contrast a little, if you can.
I really like the style of the armor, and am looking foreward to the second level!

Re: Zoomo's Art
Snazzy. The team coloring isn't a huge deal; don't worry about it too much. (Though, if you wanted more, it could go on the horn-things or non-visible side of the shield for attack/defend anims.) The size of the hip armor and torso seems disproportionately small compared to the legs, especially the ...

Re: Zoomo's Art
That looks better to me. Don't forget a shadow...
Also, if you want to try getting this in mainline, you'll need to put it in "art contributions" instead of "art workshop" so that the mainline art people can run it through a more rigorous critique.

Re: Zoomo's Art
It might be a good idea to exaggerate the bandannas. Also, the positioning of the legs look a bit...odd. It looks like they're posing to show off their shoes like a store mannequin, instead of readying themselves for deadly combat. You might also make the top abs on the male archer a little less pro...

Re: Looking for judges
I'd be happy to help, but can't make a huge time commitment. If someone can't make a session, or perhaps if no-one else signs up to be a judge, I'd be happy to help. I can be contacted through a PM. Because I can't make a huge time commitment, I expect to be on the bottom of the candidate list. ;) (...

Re: Scenario editor: units do not appear upon testing
I have not really played around with the unit editor much, but may be able to help if I could see a little of your code. Where are the [unit] tags? Could you show one of them? Also, it may be that you have to define a side in the scenario portion of the map editor. I would suggest asking about this ...

Re: Wesnothian calendar: Do they have months?
I do like the idea of simply not naming the months, as one can tell by "the fifth month" the time of year, and therefore the general weather pattern. Just some alternate ideas: -perhaps don't use months, but work by seasons. "The third moon of summer", for example. (I assume that...
