Re: Legend of the Invincibles
With the new item UI, attempting to remove items from units on the recall list puts the item into storage, but doesn't remove it from the unit, thus duping the item, this can be done essentially infinitely many times. With that said the new item UI is pretty damn great, this is exactly something tha...

Re: The Reign of the Lords
Downloaded and took a look at it, so far it does seem like a nice mod right up my alley, I will try it out some more and see how well it really feels gameplay wise.
With that said, some of the unit descriptions do have some pretty obvious mistakes in them.

Re: Wesnoth 1.13.7
Glad to see a new mainline campaign finally being added, I have actually wanted to play Secrets of the Ancients for a while now, but just couldn't find the time.
So now that it is in mainline, I will simply have to find the time to play it.

Re: Ambush? I think I don't get it.
btw, now that i think about it, ambush is actually named kinda right, it's main use isn't being a stop sign like you think, but getting not found, and then attacking out of nowhere. stop-sign tactic is more of a one for woses, but even they are better if attacking out of nowhere on their turn. Yeah...

Re: Hexes May Be Miles Across--But How Many?
Scale in Wesnoth doesn't make sense like 99% of the time, you just have to apply your willful suspension of belief here. I ran into a situation that made me think about scale in Wesnoth like a week ago, but I must have forcefully purged it from my mind, since I can't remember what prompted it. Also,...

Re: My Terrain (Mine!)
It looks awesome, like the floor is really being consumed by the abyss, really atmospheric.

Re: Script Advice/Critique
I do know about this, I just wanted to know if Dugi thinks splitting it into chapters does indeed help with the problems he proposed.
Did I just miss him explaining that?

The story art is really well done, so don't be discouraged.

Re: Script Advice/Critique
This approach comes very handy when you decide that you need to make some small story changes to the earlier scenarios to make some stuff later in the story fit better. Those who have already played through it will think that the story makes no sense. Other changes may corrupt all older save files ...

Re: Drakes in Mainline Campaigns
I always viewed the Drakes as having relatively low fertility, which makes them value each soldier, and unable to risk their lives as much as other races would. Hence they hire/enslave Saurians since they are on the exact opposite end of the spectrum, very numerous but not nearly as strong. When the...

Re: Felix Mage's stuff
I think your problem is that the axe is placed too high, hence the arm getting too long. I see, maybe I did place it a bit too high. I originally intended him to be holding it with both hands, so I put it above his head, where I could easily draw both hands. I will probably make him hold this versi...

Re: Wesnoth 1.13.4
Nice changes, is there way to add weather animations (rain, sun beams, etc), also some weather sound effects with birds in background or similar and when it is night owls sounds... Dugi has introduced 'blood rain' to Legend of the Invincibles, so I guess it's possible to add regular rain, too. SXRP...

Re: Official Steam Greenlight discussion thread
Congratulations on getting the Steam Greenlight! I had one question: can I still download future version clients from Sourceforge? I am distrustful of Steam since they cheated me when I purchased ESO... There shouldn't be a way for Steam to cheat you on a free game like Battle for Wesnoth...

Re: Felix Mage's stuff
I wanted to do that at first, but since he is holding it with just one hand it looks a bit silly, and since I plan on giving him an even bigger axe on the max level, I will eventually need to do an animation for that one, since that one is way too big to be used with the staff animation. Though I mi...

Re: Felix Mage's stuff
well, you forgot to erase the old hand, making him have 2 hands on the axe-swinging arm, and about color variation, how about copying the color palette of the mage's sleeves? I know about the old hand, I should have mentioned that I know about it, my bad. I did copy the color pallete on the sleeves...
