If you want to give certain characters a slightly customized look, you could come up with palette switches (in the vein of Darken Volk and Grüü) to wire in. Well, the difference in damage of 12 points VS it's 50/50 resists and teleport ability, I dont feel like particulary inclined to choose ArchMage. You're forgetting that the Arch Mage has more hitpoints (54 vs 48), which is useful against non fire or cold attacks, and that the Arch Mage can advance ...

It is not static 1mp. The cost is same as is for moving to target hex with usual way. However about nerf.. after all, this unit should be useful to compensate for much lower damage. I couldnt finish the scenario because after I completed the main objective: "Kill all enemy leaders." nothing happens. Some sort of bug? :|

P.S. That's not a compressed replay. Thats a normal replay file inside an archive.

Are you saying they shouldn't have ambush then? Or do you think that ambush plus backstab is totally fair and not overpowered?
