Re: The Reign of the Lords

Hi,

This looks like an interesting project! Quick question: if I install your Reign of the Lords Default unit advancement add-on, is it automatically applied to any Single Player campaign I may have running? Or do I need to restart the campaign?

Thanks!

Re: Android 1.12 support thread

Hey, just FYI, BFW appeared on Pocket Tactics:

http://www.pockettactics.com/guides/poc ... n-android/

I just left a comment saying what is the difference between Alep's version and the previous one, as they seemed to be confused.

Re: Required to use mouse on Android?

Yes, the current Android app works with mouse emulation mode (be it following finger, or relative movement, but mouse emulation after all). https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.alessandropira.wesnoth112 You may recall playing the OLD Wesnoth app, which was made by another developer and i...

Ah, OK, I didn't know the first time you can't choose.

I'll try to level up the same unit again and see if it works. :)

Thanks!

Re: alternative AMLA for more fun in long campaigns v17

Hi, It seems very interesting, AMLA is the only thing that frustrates me in Wesnoth. :) I have tried your config, but when a unit reaches a new level, I can only see the heart icon to increase its health. The other options don’t appear. Maybe it’s a resolution problem (I am running 800x600 in Androi...

Re: Looking for players PBEM mode

Hi,

How would you play Wesnoth PBEM? Sharing save files by e-mail?

How do you avoid player's cheating then?

Well, I'm sorry, but I have no coding knowledge to lend a hand... Hopefully one of the main developers could drop a line here!

Re: Android 1.12 support thread

Hi alep, First of all, thanks for your wonderful work porting 1.12 to Android. :-) I was going to suggest if you could have a look at this: http://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&p=581860 I know that you just port the original game, and do not add features to it. But as ‘async multiplayer’ make...

Re: Asynchronous Multiplayer

I really really really really really really would like to see this feature implemented. :D

Since we can play Wesnoth on our phones, this is the best approach for multiplayer. Just log in when you have a moment to send your turn.

Yes, the iOS port from dai lin is superb, and has the best of both Android versions. That's what I would like for Android too! :-)

Re: Wesnoth for Android - wich one?

I totally agree with your analysis, and specially with the conclusion: Overall: They are both very good, but I prefer alep's version, if only it had a better finger touch interface it would be almost perfect; also a "big", always visible, next unit button would be great! I suggested alep to change t...

Re: Android support thread

The only official available Wesnoth version for Android is an obsolete version (1.8.). Besides, I honestly don't like the approach of that version, which includes major modifications of the UI to adapt it to touchscreens. It's good news that you built 1.10 version for Android, but I disagree with y...

Re: Wesnoth 1.10.5 for iphone/ipad & source code is out now!

By the way, another awesome feature would be to add "Save Sync" among devices. :) Now, I can connect my iPhone with the cable and get the saves files via iFunBox, to paste them in my computer and play. Would it be possible that the app automatically puts a copy of the saves in a cloud service, like...
