Re: Cities of the Frontier - now for BfW 1.11
It looks like esci and I are on complementary schedules. Thanks again, great campaign. I am surprised you made it even harder to find an open area to build your village. In my experience, if you don't find a nice open area pretty near the center of the map, you are finished, usually sooner rather th...

Re: Getting a picture of a map
Thanks, I used the hotkey technique. Quick and easy.

Getting a picture of a map
Hello, I would like to get a picture (jpeg, png, whatever) of the map of a campaign I have been playing. The map is too large to fit on my monitor, even if I fool with the resolution settings. So I can't just take a screenshot. I can take several screenshots and stitch them together, but is there a ...

Re: debug mode
Hm. Don't speak lua, but most of it is pretty self explanatory. Is there a resource where I can see what 'Qlf' means, and other things like it?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Is there a way to modify terrain in debug mode?
Thanks

Re: Cities of the Frontier (aka sim-Wesnoth)
I'd like to keep this thread at least moderately active, please keep posting, and maybe esci will take notice and we can get him back here. So here is some idle chatter. As I posted earlier, I don't really want too many changes, but after reading other people's ideas, I thought of some more, more fo...

Re: Cities of the Frontier (aka sim-Wesnoth)
Yes, it is on the add-ons server, easy to do from right inside Wesnoth. Go for it. This is probably a stupid question, but is this campaign still available for download? One more thing - it would be nice to have a planning mode. For me. it would be enough just to have the hex overlay pattern visible...

Re: Cities of the Frontier (aka sim-Wesnoth)
Not many posts recently, let's see how much interest we still have in this campaign. First off, this is my favorite campaign in the Wesnoth Canon. If nothing else were ever done to it, I would be happy. Having said that, some observations: 1. I wouldn't want too many of the recommended additions to ...

Re: Scenario Review: Liberty 5 - Hide and Seek
Thanks so much for the reply. I just finished another attempt, and got stuck again. I'll try the command mode. I was very proud of this one - I finshed the previous scenario with no level 1s in my recall list, lots of gold.
Thanks again very much for replying and including the new replay.

Impossible scenario
This appears to be a known bug - there were other posts about it. I have checked and double checked, but I keep coming up with impossible scenarios in the Hide and Seek scenario of the "Liberty" campaign. I posted a replay a while ago, but haven't had a response and have restarted from the...

Re: Scenario Review: Liberty 5 - Hide and Seek
Sorry to sound like a whiner - or to be a whiner - but it keeps happening. I keep getting impossible scenarios. I have looked hard and will post more replays if you want, but every other time I play this I get a scenario with no safe paths. How far back to I have to go to get a new map? Just save-sc...

Re: Scenario Review: Liberty 5 - Hide and Seek
I'm a beginner, but I found it impossible after restarting the previous scenario, hoping to get a new collection of guards. There just did not seem to be a path through any time I tried. Is there still a bug? I am running 1.10.2 Here is the save file from the beginning of the scenario: Liberty-Hide_...
