Re: Seeking tricky WML examples
My add-on Age of Tentacles has fairly tricky code of invisibility, which spams constant errors but works somehow. If you want to review it, it would be nice.

Re: Age of Tentacles
Version 0.9.3 is published on 1.16 server only. I plan to also publish it on 1.18 server later, when I compile new Wesnoth and make sure it still works. For now you can download the addon directly and unpack it into ~/.local/share/wesnoth/1.16/data/add-ons/ or equivalent location in your OS. Only di...

Fiction prose in Irdya (Wesnoth's world)
I was wondering, are there any finished fantasy novels or novel cycles, where the action takes place in Irdya?
I remember seeing some on the forum, but they weren't quite finished, when I checked last time.

Age of Tentacles
The addon Age of Tentacles exists for a while now. It contains a faction of several fully animated units, including giant centipedes of several kinds, shessinsaans (Large quadrupedal predator reptiles), dragonflies and mosquitoes, both similar to real life Culex Pipiens but much larger and several k...

Re: Abandoned Add-ons - Need Maintainers - Open to Anyone
If your add-on was hijacked, I suggest contacting one of the moderators or admins of the add-on server to restore your ownership. It's kinda my fault that I did not update it on the addon server for a while and somebody though that it was abandoned, so I wanted to contact whoever it was first direc...

Re: Wesnoth Fauna
The "README" file from the "Age of Tentacles" on the 1.12 add-on server states that the centipede art (among others) is licensed under CC-BY-SA, so I assumed using it in my own UMC was permitted. I do not quite understand what issue you are pointing at, but since my campaign is ...

Re: Questions about a non-Wesnoth campaign creation
Since, the art and code you include into your add-on are solely copyrighted by you, you can indeed include them in other project, whatever license they might be under. However, if you import artwork or code from other add-ons, which is permitted and encouraged, then you can't use other people's artw...

Re: Wesnoth Fauna
Hello. I have been called there because doofus asked me in PM about it. Shessinsaans forgot which era they are in. shessinsaan.png That's from Age of Tentacles. In my campaign, I used the fully animated and portrait-complete centipedes ( 1 2 3) made by Wayirr & Saurrian. Perhaps they could be in...

Re: Abandoned Add-ons - Need Maintainers - Open to Anyone
Somebody has uploaded version of Age of Tentacles 0.9.0 to 1.14 addon server, who wasn't me. But judging by diff it's older than what I have on my computer, even though my latest version was 0.8.x. My latest change was in Sep 25 2017 If, whoever it was, was coming from this topic, why they didn't co...

Re: Problema na inicialização do jogo
If the operating system is Windows, I suggest restarting it. Windows has had some troubles with starting Wesnoth right after it was installed. If this doesn't help or OS is not Windows, then I'd recommend to try and record the messages when the game start, such as open command line and type "we...

Is ghoul poison really poison?
I have had a discussion with another Wesnoth player. My opinion is that ghoul's "poison" is really infection, rather than actual venom. It has same game mechanic as poisoned thrown knives and other similar stuff though, so separate weapon special wasn't introduced. Also since this infectio...

Re: Steam Game "Grand Strategy" blatantly ripping off Wesnoth art
Does the game supply complete correspondent source code to every player who downloaded the binaries? If it does then the game should be alright. If not, then they should fix the issue by providing the complete source code. I don't have any steam accounts or anything, so whoever has, can they check w...

Re: New space combat game published
I wasn't able to find a link to source tarball. My GNU/Linux distribution is not one of major ones, so I install everything from source, sans basic system stuff. Can you please add direct link to the source download, along with steam link?

Re: cannot edit safes
By the way, wesnoth itself provides command line options to gzip and gunzip files and bzip2 and bunzip2 as well. So it's not necessary to use any third party tools. Though of course, it requires some computer skill to use command line tools like that.
