Re: Cities of the Frontier (aka sim-Wesnoth)
Yep still inlove with this campaign.
I would like it if we kept it as the original and perhaps someone make like an off shoot that tries to add more complexity.
I've basically played it as far as I think I can. Its time someone took it a step further.

Re: The Settlers of Light (1.9.12+)
That's a good easy solution. I would simply not create any more zombies if it would exceed the total. The other thing I was thinking was perhaps putting a timer on zombie spawning, like every 4 times a unit steps into the swamps a zombie will be 'born'. I think you're right though, the swamps should...

Re: The Settlers of Light (1.9.12+)
Oh yeah! Thx its been a while. the truth is there is 16 scns but only 1 active. What I mean of course is I never deleted the other 15 scns so if any wants to play the old campaign they can. All they would have to do is edit I think the main file to point to the original first scn (details in the wik...

Re: The Settlers of Light (1.9.12+)
it was rly pretty hard but also not to hard Thanks! thats basically what i was going for gameplay wise. maybe you should let undead spawn really all time and not only a limited number? That's actually how i constructed it initially but the swamp got really cramped and it became a real chore for me ...

Re: The Settlers of Light (1.9.12+)
After months of silence I'm back now.
yeah, I actually just played it right now and the first scenario is unbeatable because the event is waiting for aragwaithi peasants and I actually give you normal peasants... my bad. Consider that fixed as of now I just need to upload it.

Re: The Settlers of Light: Story Development
Kick out the desert elves. I'm under the impression that the desert elves have in fact left the continent In UtBS so yeah... I don't plan on bringing them into this campaign whatsoever. I also agree with the suggestion to make sth. else than "the union" and beating Uria the center of the ...

Re: The Settlers of Light: Story Development
I suppose I should have seen this coming but it seems I may have inadvertently changed my original vision for the characters. I've also added in two new characters into the mix because... why not? I know the cast was already looking a little large so I apologize for now increasing the size. Ricomer ...

The Settlers of Light (0.9.1) Huzzah!
Guess what! the moment you've all been waiting for has finally arrived. I have finished the... just one scenario... sorry. But I decided to upload it anyway b/c it took me about 22 days of on and off work to complete and I'm quite proud. The first scenario itself is still not fully tweaked yet (some...

Re: Flameslash's attempts at spriting
Looks good to me. If it helps though I would like to give advice to a potential problem with the 'right' leg. As a disclaimer I have never made sprites before so I'm far from authoritative but its possible that the lower part of the leg is too rectangular. In comparison, her left leg (and i'm referr...

Wow, this stuff us pretty cool. Especially since I started at the first page and then jumped over here. The difference is rather staggering.

Actually yes, thanks a lot! (just started New Order)More of it, I think campaigns 'A new Order' ... both stories with political aspects... Is this what you have in mind or something else ?

Re: Epic fantasy and politics in Wesnoth?
I too have always wanted to see a campaign dealing with a more complex political undertone especially since I've recently been a fan of the "Song of Ice and Fire" series. Most of the time I feel the wesnoth stories are about heroes and villains, one side is evil the other good and there is...

Re: Geography of the Inferno
taking a black and white view of demons and their parallels (humans I guess) to me seems pretty appropriate. We're dealing with creatures called demons and they live in a place called inferno, I don't think anyone disagrees that we're referencing a similar place called hell over here. But I do have ...

Re: Geography of the Inferno
Sounds like a real dreary place to live, do the demons refer to these regions by these names as well or they a purely an innovation on part of the "hero" who drew this map?

Re: The Settlers of Light (1.9.12+)
I wonder about the Aragwaithi as a faction: I suppose I don't really have much to say about them. All of my information I have about the Aragwaithi I've essentially borrowed and derived from the race description and IftU (invasion from unknown). bumbadadabum is obviously the authority on this matte...
