Re: XVII Century Project : Eastern Europe at War (EEaW)
(Hello, I'm back ...!) Please, note that there is a difference between upper and lowercase letters in file names. This is especially important for people who use linux. There is an error in "_main.cfg" in the line: {~add-ons/Eastern_Europe_at_War/eeaw_eras.cfg} , should read: {~add-ons/Eas...

Re: Semi historical faction
Actually the idea is not only the Spanish reconquest. As I mentioned before, I have in mind several scenarios (w. wallace, robin hood, the 100 years war, Viking raids ...). As I mentioned, I'm a beginner, so I want to begin by discrete and affordable objectives. For now I will do this faction that c...

Re: Semi historical faction
By the way, I found the thread: http://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=34336 Well, it seems that sprites can be used, and we know who the author (for the credits). We could have English, French, and a faction generic (this) to create a scenario EEaW style, for the hundred years war ... o...

Re: Semi historical faction
Hi all. Well, "armoricans" not a bad idea. I think "logrians" sounds better, but it is good to have several ideas. I think it's good if we choose among all of us. I also liked the story of 'Bertrand Du Guesclin. "This can be a great idea to develop an era, campaign, or to ad...

Re: Semi historical faction
Well friends, thanks for your comments. "Crusaders" is a name I had thought, but I admit that "Logrians" I like it. Thanks for that idea! Okay, go with the approach. The idea is to create an army that has a strategic and tactical approach closer to the medieval historical reality...

Semi historical faction
Hi all! Well, I'm creating a new faction. My intention is that this is useful to represent, in a general and semi historical way, the typical European medieval kingdoms. This can be a useful supplement to the factions "Kalifa" and "Vaeringjar." I am a beginner, so I'm going to cr...

A technical question, please.
Hello people! Well, so far I've worked with BMPs and TGAs in several projects (flight simulators). So far I have learned for myself. Now I'm trying to create some units for this game, but I found an obstacle. I managed to create transparency in PNG format, but I can not create the shadow that looks ...

Hello friends! Well, the first thing I do is to congratulate you for this great work, love it! Also, It's great that someone is working on a campaign! I would like to ask one thing of curiosity. I compared "18th Century Warfare Era" and before "gunpowder era." Well, both are grea...

Re: XVII Century Project : Eastern Europe at War (EEaW)
Eureka! Solved!
Search in ".../.wesnoth1.8/data/add-ons/Eastern_Europe_at_War" folder "_main.cfg" file. Open it an find this line:
{~add-ons/Eastern_Europe_at_War/EEaW_eras.cfg}
Change it to:
{~add-ons/Eastern_Europe_at_War/eeaw_eras.cfg}
And... VOILA! It works!
