Re: Unfinished portraits
I made my own thread about this, but didn't notice this thread until now, so I guess I'll post my request here to, hope that's not considered spam... :augh: Was wondering if someone who was bored and more artistically savvy then me could finish up this old WIP Wraith that Captain Swings made before ...

Wraith Coloring Request
Was wondering if someone who was bored and more artistically savvy then me could finish up this old WIP Wraith that Captain Swings made before he vanished into the ether of the internet years ago. Here is the original image from the forums, and the current mainline image of the Wraith whose colors w...

Re: May I post Wesnoth music and sound effects to Fanburst?
That's far from the definitive answer I was hoping for, to be honest.

May I post Wesnoth music and sound effects to Fanburst?
I know Wesnoth runs under GNU which means any use that isn't making money off it is fine, but still I thought I'd ask before doing this. Basically Fanburst is a sound and music hosting service that freely allows people to post various sounds and music for use as ambience and effects in tabletop game...

Re: Descent into Darkness
"A Haunting in Winter"
Your main enemy is Bandits instead of Dwarves. Is this suppose to represent the Knalgan Alliance? I swore in 1.9-1.10 version of this had only Dwarves as enemies, no bandits, so the decision to change this baffles me.

Re: Lordbob's commissionned work: UtBS
I must say this radical shift in the appearance of the Desert Elves is both unexpected and... not unpleasant in the least, the darker skin tones make complete sense, but I will miss the sandy complexions more then a little bit.

"Dawarf" in UtBS, where/when does it appear?
That's not a typo who don't know what I'm talking about:
http://units.wesnoth.org/1.12/mainline/ ... awarf.html
I'm just curious, knowing full well this unit is intended to be a Easter egg/in-joke, when does it appear, if at all, in the campaign?

Re: Adding Units to a Map in the Map Editior
Of course it would be something as simple as that, I have no idea how I missed the "Side" button. One more question, is it possible to change through unit variations at the moment? Ala gender for units like elves and mages? Or the various variations of Walking Corpses and Soulless? Or has ...

Adding Units to a Map in the Map Editior
Sorry for all the stupid questions, like I said I can find this information on my own, despite my best efforts. I see with the new 1.12 Map Editor one apparently has the ability to place units on the map like you would terrain hexes, yet the button is always greyed out, with no context on how to mak...

Exporting sprites from Wesnoth?
Sorry if this has been asked before, I'm just looking to take a gander at all the variation sprites for Walking Corpses and Soulless and searching on my own has yielded nothing, may hap it's something easy to see but I just don't know how, can anyone shed some light on this or point me to a tutorial...

Trying to remeber the name of a Goblin Campaign...
I played it years ago, right around 1.9/1.10 I believe. It was a non-mainline campaign about a tribe of goblins, and how goblin wolf rider's came to be. The goblins where helped by a kindly white mage whose death is something of a catalyst in the story, though the main goblin's son, whose portrait i...

Good Mountain to Cave Transition
(This might not be the right place to ask, but I'm lost on a better section for this, so if this is in the wrong sub forum, I apologize and please feel free to move it.) I was looking for a little Wesnoth Map Editor help, namely a good way to make a mountains to cave translation, one that didn't mak...

Re: Extracting Wesnoth Sounds
All I have in my Data folder is Add-ons, also it's only called Wesnoth_1.10, not Battle_For_Wesnoth_1.10, I've downloaded and installed only the game, not the Source Code, is that what I need?

Extracting Wesnoth Sounds
Was curious how one could go about extracting Wesnoth's sound effects for use outside of Wesnoth. Before anyone asks the things I want to use them for are for non-profit, I want use some of the Ogre's sounds to replace the sounds of the Ogres in the Mo' Creatures Mode for Minecraft, the sounds for t...
