(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on? Normal (Challenging) 1.8.5 (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 2. Most "defend" scenarios put you at a numerical disadvantage instead of an advantage. (3) How clear did you find the scenario ...

If not, my apologies) http://i55.tinypic.com/b3wny1.png Having been dragged into a suicide mission by Sir Gweddry's stubborn loyalty, we fled into the tunnels below the city, a horde of undead at our heels and a raiding band of trolls...

Re: Campaign playstyle and fun factor
I like Wesnoth's take on random numbers much better than Bloodbowl because you have much better control over them. Bwuh? Anyway, thanks for the advice, everyone. In the future I'll be more stingy with veterans and keep the core of my army as expendable recruits (and maybe decrease the difficulty le...

Campaign playstyle and fun factor
I've been poking around the easy mainline campaigns on Hard difficulty, and the sheer volume of enemies that get thrown at you is pretty brutal. I try to position my troops and hit the enemy for as much survivability as possible, but so much of it comes down to luck of the draw that I usually have m...
